Short week to recover from a classic John Fox statement game: punt inside opponents side of field, let them drive down field, hold tight to a 2 score lead and keep timeouts in your pocket as you refuse to try to score more and eventually lose Last year's team lost a lot of games where they actually looked halfway decent. That fooled some people into thinking this team had a chance to win a lot of games this year but their weaknesses have been fully exposed, from top to bottom. The Bears are in full "it's best to lose to increase their draft position" mode but the GM is 0-2 with first round picks and we are almost certain to need a coaching staff turnover before this team starts winning again (if ever). The big thing to keep an eye on, besides if Cutler returns, is this game coincides with game 5 of NLCS and the next one falls between a theoretical game 5 and 6 of the World Series. Also Bears are 9 point underdogs against a team that may be on the outside looking in come playoff time.
