  3. Eh. I wouldn't say he "collapsed". He was walking off the field and went down probably to avoid his team having to call a timeout or get a delay of game penalty. He looked pretty under control to me. Also, "obviously concussed" is a severe overstatement. You don't have the ability to diagnose a concussion on TV, and you can be woozy without getting a concussion. He was likely seeing stars, but you can't determine if he had a concussion based on watching a play on TV. Is seeing stars and. It being concussed a thing?
  4. I did not know this meme but I do enjoy it
  5. I saw all owners would’ve needed to unanimously vote on the ownership thing to allow it. Guessing someone would’ve voted no as to not set a precedent for future HC hirings. Also the NFL, where owners can commit $100 million to former Hooters Spokesmen to be their head coach but can afford to build their new stadiums.... the owners would have to approve, but they also know the increased salary changes the market for coaches. So it's not like they'd all dismiss it out of hand.
  6. Pretty sure gruden was quoted yesterday saying no ownership
  7. I think Nagy's my guy. I like the idea of a younger coach, Andy Reid's coaching tree has generally done well for itself. Pat schurmer and brad childress?

  12. My point in asking is the best candidates may not love mitch, or want to be tied to him. Which brings me back to: If you feel that way, why do you want the Bears job out of the 15 jobs that are open this offseason? THATISTHECONCERN.jpeg/gif
  13. Did he retroactively not go to Seattle or something? I'mma be honest, I thought Derwood was gonna come in here and be like, "Dexter was on the 2015 team?" It’s a misleading title in a transactions thread. He went to Seattle.

  15. The head coach hire is a make or break decision, but this isn't quite a make or break year. With a 2-year extension both Pace and this new coach will have until 2019 to really show it on the field. He could go 7-9 this year and not risk losing his job. He could probably go 5-11 again and stay at the helm.
  16. I'm somewhat confident in his ability to make this team a quality contender, but aware of his shortcomings to date.
  17. Talk radio media members really seem to be driving this Ted/George fear, much the same way they obsessed over Kenney. This isn't a real story. Either Pace hires a good HC, drafts well and signs some quality FA, and this team gets better, or he fails and he is gone in 2 years. Ted and George being in the room will not play a part.
  18. 4 legit games I might see as a visiting fan. NYG obviously, and then one of the non-Buffalo division opponents, depending on when they occur.
