  8. Some of the remaining FA are talking about holding their own spring training together. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk Kinda hard to say something like this when the Cubs and Astros have won the last two World Series doing exactly this. Not at all. The problem is not that tanking hurts you, the problem is incentivizing tanking is bad for the sport. And I believe that is absolutly true. You have 5-6 teams actively tanking right now, and tanking is a multi year process. It's really bad for the concept of professional sport.

  11. why would you think that If the Cubs don't make a move heading into the regular season, their moves are Chatwood and Morrow and lost Arrieta? The Brewers were nearly better than them last year. #nearly
  12. If/when Chicago and a NY team becomes relevant again and Dallas, Green Bay, San Fran, and/or Denver is playoff caliber, there will be a bounce in popularity. You can't have so many top markets be garbage teams plus alienate multiple markets with teams either moving or pre-moving, and not see a downtick in national interest.
