  1. Holy horsefeathers that’s awfully low. like almost so low that it will not affect anybody else’s negotiations because it’s so far outside the realm of realistic
  2. Washington is 3-2, undefeated at home and has scored 33 more points than they have given up. They have one good win, an upset in LA over the Chargers and they are 3.5 point favorites over Chicago. The one thing Chicago has in their favor is the old east coast team coming back from the west coast and the Bears are coming off a bye. Jayden Daniels might not be able to exploit this defense as well as more established QBs should be able to. But I’m not seeing a Bears win here. If they pull off the upset the playoffs are still an outside shot, while a loss virtually eliminates them as they prepare for the second half onslaught of 6 likely losses.
  3. Kind of annoyed that Grzelcyk signed. A mediocre offensive minded LHD doesn’t rally do anything for this group.
  4. They have a slight chance of not being terrible this year. More likely than not they will be bottom 5. But this year will be with young players being exciting and dangerous but mistake prone, rather than a roster full of 2-5 million dollar garbage vets. The kids should start filling the roster and by the following season they should threaten a playoff run. there should be ~5 talented guys making their debut between now and 12 months from now along with the ~10 very young guys already in the mix.
  5. Wonder if there’s a way to move him to devils since they need to make room for Hughes’ new contract, take back a Dawson Mercer who hasn’t lived up to early promise but has more upside than Reichel.
  6. Luke Hughes 7 with 9 aav
  7. Stupid Mets could have prevented us from watching this awful reds team that has no business being in the postseason
  8. Korchinski sent to Rockford. Slightly disappointing but not particularly surprising. He’s really in a weird spot with Rinzel seemingly leapfrogging him in the system and Levshunov also prioritized with draft status and usage theres still time for Korchinski, but it’s hard to find a spot for him, especially if Rinzel and Levshunov are the PP1/PP2 guys running the top 4 with more defensive minded partners in 5 on 5. With Murphy still around for most of the season, that is the most likely way for Korchinski to slot into the roster
  9. McDavid will get 20 Not a direct comparison because of position but this points to the direction the market may be going for Luke Hughes, a RFA that has been out of camp for devils Hawks probably want Bedard for ~12 but he probably wants shorter term to make his upside enormous as a ~24/25 yo UFA
  10. Was he also traded to Jacksonville?
  11. Finkel IS einhorn
  12. Sans Diego
  13. Its funny you think 90% of the country works during the day
  14. For Cleveland
  15. How ‘bout them herpes
  16. If tuck was pitching while hurt I’d have a bigger problem with Counsell than the trainers
  17. Dumper and The Judge sounds like a morning show that got suspended immediately for making racist jokes and prank calling the fire department The Editor of our college newspaper got in trouble for calling in a fake fire call in order to get an action photo of the new fire truck
  18. You cannot compare RB with kickers punters and long snappers. RBs can make a difference on their own. There are elite difference makers at the position. Most are not, but they do exist and they are worthy of first round picks.
  19. At first I thought you were listing winnable games, not just the actual order coming up. Yeah, all but Baltimore is winnable there. The best QB they will face the rest of the season, followed up by Hurts in November. There’s no room for error in that stretch though. Because they are going to lose most of their final 8 games. 3 wins in that late stretch would be almost miraculous.
  20. Terrible coaching by harbaugh there Campbell f’d him
  21. How does Baltimore not take a timeout there? Would be 2:40 left Detroit 3rd long. Instead let them run it to under 2m warning I hate that choice
  22. What a difference a weak opponent makes. Chicago’s offense torched the lowly Cowboys but what was more impressive was a makeshift defense effectively muting a quality offense. Holding them to 14 may have ruined my Bears and over parlay, but I’m not even mad. The Bears are 1.5 point favorites against a bad opponent in Pete Caroll’s Vegas squad. They squeaked out an early win over Drake Maye’s Patriots but have lost by double digits in two consecutive weeks and have averaged just 17.7 points per game, easily in the bottom 10. The Bears are at 25.3, in the top 10. If Chicago can keep them under 24 they could even their record.
