    Haven't you been paying attention? It's now about a blockbuster Santana-Lincecum-Cain-Bedard-Roberts-Griffey-Crawford-ARod for Patterson-Murton-Cedeno-Gallagher-Marshall-Lieber-Colvin trade Man, I'm glad we're going to get this done without giving up Pie and Hill..... Hendry truly is amazing. Yeah, but is Griffey that much of an upgrade over Pie? He's at least a marginal upgrade over Pie, maybe even a significant upgrade - it just depends on what you define marginal and significant as. He's definitely not a minor upgrade, though. :wink: He's like a -20 defensive CF these days. Pie's at least +10. If we assume a .295 EqA for Griffey (hes done that once in the least four years) and assume a gets enough PT for 400 outs (he hasn't topped that figure in the last NINE seasons), as long as Pie EqA's .250 it's a tie. In other words, if Pie hits like Ryan Theriot he's an upgrade over Griffey in CF. See I don't hate Pie. i don't either...i am extremely partial to cherry sweet potato is good as well

    I pulled out MLB2k7 last night, and he's only ranked an 82. I really don't know why we're trying to trade for an 82. derosa probably ranks an 81... marginal man...marginal

We obviously need more than Murton, but that would make a lot of sense so...then we can forget about roberts and just go after bedard?!?!? \:D/ Why not have Khalil and Roberts\Bedard? i might explode with excitement if that could somehow actually happen... or poop the pants...one or the other... I thnk we are all missing the best part of the Rosenthal article!! if hendry can possibly swing these deals...i will send him a pack of baby carrots with a bow

    good deal for the rays they are going to be pretty good this year...i am hoping for their first winning season or at least .500...or really close... i can't wait till june to see the cubbies in my hometown!!! \:D/

    Wouldn't it be great to have a rotation of Zambrano, Lilly, Marquis, Lieber and Dempster? Great for the Brewers. Although, ABuck is clearly joking about trading Hill, I hope Hendry doesn't do something stupid and trade Hill to the O's for Roberts. if that happened...i think i will root for the pirates this year

    Yeah, if they gave him any real money, he's not competing for anything. He's got the spot. Hopefully they trade Marquis and/or Dempster. marquis and dempster both in a package for burnett!?!?
