I'd be hard pressed to choose whether I'd want to listen to these two morans or Joe Morgan... Equally bad, Morgan is the biggest anti-cub on the planet. THats what the mute button is for. I wish XM had the Cubs announcers on Id listen to that. As it is I chose to listen to nothing.

Maybe he belongs in AA then. Seriously I would rather give a youngster a shot, couldnt be much worse. Amen to that, I dont think Hill would do worse but I think that Guzman or even Marshall could do better

I know I was all excited to see Murton today, but of course Dusty keeps him out today!!! Last opportunity to watch a game for awhile too :( I think next saturday's game is on wgn as well, hopefully we should see the starters by then. The chances of ever seeing Montenez make the major league club ever are pretty slim, he was a real waste of a first round pick, its always a bit risky taking a highschool guy though I guess

I had to mute the TV in the first inning I forgot how bad the Whitesox anouncers are. I cant stand the "he gone" crap.

When are we going to start fielding our regulars? Whats wrong with Murton and Jones? So out of the lineup are, Murton, Jones, Barrett, and Lee. Its going to be painful watching Rusch pitch I think he will be one of the first out of the rotation when our injured guys start returning.

There is an article on cubs.com saying they wont release the info on the MRI until saturday, which seems kind of absurd.

That rotation is in StarWars language "bantha poodoo" other than Zambrano. Its gonna be an ugly April.

Id say that we are completely screwed. Our rotation after Zambrano sucks to put it bluntly and our offense is not good enough to carry us. We should just start dismantling now. Trade some of our better players for prospects rebuild the farm and play for last place. This team is going to be extremely mediocre at best without Prior and Wood. I know Hendry wont do this though because he's trying to keep his job. We are going to be a pretty sad team going into April and we really needed to get off to a good start in order to compete in our division. I had been listening to the doom and gloom from people on these boards all offseason and I had tried to remain optimistic about our chances but it looks like we are going to be the same team as last year in the end. I hope Im wrong, but things look pretty bleak.

On a related note, Chad Cordero was 2-4 last year. What a useless pitcher. :wink: Yeah they should trade that Cordero guy for Shawn Estes he usually has a nice W-L record, and everyone knows what a great pitcher he is. Is Shawn even still around? lol

There is no FSN chicago, only CSN chicago now, but its not on that channel anyway. If it was it would be blacked out anyway, but its on one of Fox's alternate channels. I wonder if there is a way to pirate these games lol Get direct TV, and ask an out-of-state friend or relative to let you use their address for billing. Then another area's games will be blacked out and not your own. I wonder how much my area could have to do with my getting blacked out Im on the other side of the country from Chicago. Ridiculous.

Well, I've got the game on DirecTV.... so I guess that means I'm gruntled, eh? Unfortunately for me, EI doesn't begin until Opening Day and I don't have the sports package. yeah same here Vance I cant even order it until the last week in March Mine renews automatically because I've had it for a long time. I could order the sports package to watch the game, but it doesn't get you the games once the season starts. Well I have the sports package and I get all those alternate channels and CSNchicago but they still black those games out to me even during spring training. If I had broadband internet Id have the MLBtv but I only have dial-up, I cant get dsl or cable here.

Cheer up, man..... you've always got Pat & Ron !! :wink: Yeah thank God for XM today. I like Pat and Ron but I have a hard time following radio sometimes I get distracted and miss things and then have no idea whats going on. I wonder how XM will sync with the extra innings TV, it would be nice to be able to turn down the audio and listen to the game on XM. Woot double by Murton, sweet. Thought it might be gone at first.
