Well, I've got the game on DirecTV.... so I guess that means I'm gruntled, eh? Unfortunately for me, EI doesn't begin until Opening Day and I don't have the sports package. yeah same here Vance I cant even order it until the last week in March

Well, I've got the game on DirecTV.... so I guess that means I'm gruntled, eh? Lucky dog... yeah I was telling the customer service rep on the phone that the guys that have Direct TV have the game, she couldnt give me any answer for that, she just babbled on about how it was up to the teams bla bla bla. *sigh*

at least the game is on XM so I can listen to it. Im still disgruntled about the blackout crap.

Thats probably why they had him pitch a simulated game, knock off some of the rust. Hopefully they will get him in a game soon.

Well apparently I cannot watch the game today, Im blacked out of that one to. Makes no sense at all I live in Florida *sigh*. They wont even let me buy the MLB extra innings package until the last week of March and thier stupid computer system is down right now so they cant check to see if they can make it availible for me or not. Why would you black out programing that you can get no other way? man Im ticked. I guess Im not going to be able to get any of the spring training games till the last week of March.

Looks like tommorows game is suppose to be on CSN but for some reason Im blacked out and cant record it. Despite the fact I live in FL. You cant even get the MLB extra innings package yet, so I wonder why they blacked it out.

If you have DishNetwork (and you may have to have the extra sports package) the game is on channel 445. Anyone know if tommorow's game is televised?

You never know what kind of conversations take place behind closed doors. Its entirely possible that Hendry has put his foot down about these 2 guys getting consistant playing time. Id love to see Baker test this, if the law has been laid down, so to speak. Id like to see him fired as soon as possible, I dislike him that much. The reason the Braves are so good year after year is because they are able to plug holes on thier roster with guys from thier own system. The Braves would never have made the playoffs last year if Baker was running them, he'd have played washed up old guys over some of those young guys that did such a steallar job over there last year. Developement of young talent is key to fielding a consistantly winning team. I guess the reason they have stuck with Baker so long is that he is a "players manager" and guys (older veteran guys I guess) love to play for him. I certainly hope to see someone else managing this team next year, and perferably by the All-star break, though I doubt that will happen unless we get off to an Abysmal start.

So what are we at, 5 days with this infection? I hope he's keeping in shape in the meantime. *sigh* yes typical Cubs injury maddness.

Anyone heard anything new about Aramis? I see he is not in the line up again today. Hopefully tommorow I guess. This line up is pretty weak without Barret, Lee and Ramirez.

They seem determined to send Guzman to AAA, I guess I can see why, but Id still rather see Guzman than Rusch or Williams. -

I don't know about all that. Some of those were close but looked more outside than anything. Its really hard to see where the plate sits at the camera angle they have for this game. I wish they had the above the plate camera so you could really see where the pitches were. There were quite a few breaking pitches that I thought were clearly strikes that he didnt get. All of his pitches had good movement and the velocity was there. Im pretty happy with what I saw. Thank God they have a pitch count in this thing the Venezaluan manager sounded like he wanted to leave Santana in there even longer than he did. Im looking forward to Zambrano's next outing.

I think Zambrano struck out the 2 guys before the homerun, he got screwed on the calls. This umpire is aweful I wanted to post this earlier but the boards wouldn't laod for me. Z pitched great but eventually just had to serve up a ball right down the middle cause thats the only way he could get a strike call. They should use major league umps for these games. Overall though I think Z looks great.

The homplate umpire has a strike zone smaller than a pea, basicly if someone doesnt swing at it its a ball. Zambrano would have been thrown out of the game by now if he had started.

Pie could play anywhere in the outfield he has a gun of an arm and could make a good right fielder or left fielder. His speed makes him ideal for CF but Im sure he could adjust to any of the outfield spots.

Why Rush, why not Guzman or Hill if they prove better than Rusch here in Spring training? Shouldnt be to hard to out perform Rusch.
