    I guess Stewart's appeal is that he will turn 27 in April and posted 3 seasons in a row (half season in 08) where he was around league average. Also, he showed the ability to take some walks, although he hasn't had very high averages. His WAR was 1.1, 1.2, and 1.5 those 3 years. Obviously, he sucked last year, but maybe the Cubs see it as a chance to buy low on a player and see if that player can't rebound to being league average again or possibly better.

    The only annoying thing for me is that my Twitter/Facebook blows up after every Broncos win with people giving Tebow complete credit for this turnaround. I'm sorry, but in 5 of his 6 starts his team has scored less than 20 points and he has yet to complete over 50% of his passes in a game. I'm not saying that he hasn't had a positive impact, but the defense/schedule has had a much larger impact.

He actually made a number of good throws, showed a decent arm, and shows good pocket presence. I feel like he can be productive, as long as he isn't being asked to throw the ball 30-35 times.

    One of my Cubs fans friends: Him: If the Cubs sign Pujols, I don't think I can be a Cubs fan anymore. Me: Why? That would be their best free agent signing in like forever. Him: He's the enemy! He played for the Cardinals! I hate him!!!!! Me: You're an idiot and you don't want the team that you root for to get better, for idiotic reasons. I hate that guy.

    Dead serious. JockJones wasn't. Dammit. I knew I read a quote almost exactly like that recently and part of me thought it was a reference to it, but I bit anyways. As did I. You really can't always tell without the green. Edited it for you guys. I actually would be quite happy with a Pujols signing.
