    Don't know if any of you care, but Gregg Marshall is staying at Wichita State, after rumors of him being a candidate for the NC State gig were swirling around.

    He's probably better than Jacobson, but again, uninspiring. Please don't take Jacobson, he really has the UNI program in a good place. Leave Gregg out of this! I love the guy.

    It's going to be weird cheering for Tennessee basketball. I'll admit, it'll be kinda nice to have fans of another team rooting for us instead of against us. Still hate to see Pearl gone, however. Do you have any thoughts on Martin as a head coach? I realize he wasn't a HC at Purdue, but you'll likely have more insight than I do anyway. As a Wichita State fan, and seeing them play Cuonzo led MSU teams, I think Tennessee fans will really like him. He brings a suffocating defensive style and a good offense that utilizes getting shooters open. He never had a ton of prominent big men at Mizzou St, other than Weems, but he seemed to bring in a lot of tough minded, physical players, that were pretty good shooters and bought in to his system.

    I have a question for people that own a Bulls jersey. How do they fit? I wear an XL or XXL t-shirt, and both fit comfortably. How do the jersey sizes compare to t-shirt sizes? It is an Adidas replica jersey, if that helps.

    Basically. If we could somehow win out in conference, win against VCU at home and get to the tourney championship, then we might have a 50/50 chance at an at-large, because of a weak at-large field this year. However, last night really sucked but I think WSU has a great chance to win the conference tourney for the first time in my life, because they are built to last in a 3 games in 3 days format.

    why do you say that? Maybe he was referring to last year, where they lost in the 2nd round as a 1 seed. Go MVC schools.

    It seemed like Les' strategy yesterday was to make the margin of defeat as narrow as he could by completely slowing down the pace of the game, even when they were down 10 in the 2nd half, and needing to score some quick buckets to get back in the game. I didn't understand it. Of course, with T Brown and Sam M out their hopes of having a good year took a big blow, but you figured that they would have enough depth to at least be decent in a down MVC. How much longer does Les last?

    Weird criticism because how many teams go more than 8 deep in March? And who's worried about us making a deep run into March at this point? Ya, I just saw that article on another site and it made me think of all the fans of Illinois schools on here so I wanted to post it. I don't really have an opinion on it either way.

    Because there's nothing idiotic about questioning his "concentration levels" and "day-to-day energy." Awful. What? In the article Stark says that he thinks Starlin will be good even though he "has some reservations about his concentration levels and day-to-day energy." Dumb.

    There's a blast from the past. Wonder how his life has turned out. Was it a college or minor league game that he rearranged that guy's face in the on deck circle? College. Hit Anthony Molina in the face. I know he got drafted too, but I'm pretty sure he never got any higher than A ball, if he even got there. Ben went to my school, Wichita State. Still talk about him/the accident a lot here. Awful that that happened.

    I think that the pitching will be fine, possibly even pretty good. What it depends on if Soto, Starlin, Kosuke/Colvin, Byrd, and Soriano can stay up around where they were offensively last year, and hope that Ramirez and Pena have bounce back years. If that happens, we could definitely contend for the Central.
