Don't be sad. If you want a delicious sub in Kansas you should just go to Mr. Goodcents. That would be my vote. The Penny Club with the stardard press, spicy mustard and mayo. You're set. I'm intrigued. What meats are in the Penny Club and what's a standard press? I must investigate. Well, the Penny Club is a turkey, ham, and roast beef sub. There are different types of subs that go along with the change (Goodcents) theme. The typical standard press is lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper and oregano. You can add on or subtract whatever you would like, but I like being able to say that I want the Penny with the Standard. One of the nice things about the place is that their meat is fresh (compared to your typical Subway or Quiznos type place), where the meat is just sitting out. When you order your sub, they freshly slice your meats and cheeses. They have kept up with the bigger chains by offering a $5 dollar footlong sub, but their typical sizes are 8 in. and 16 in. I've been going there for years and it is definitely my favorite sub place, for the food and value, around here.
