    I just checked cubs.com and it has Wells as the scheduled starter for Sunday, which I don't understand, but it's the Cubs so ok. It says for the Sunday and Monday starters that it is subject to change, so who really knows.

    I don't think it willbe Hart Sunday. I think it will be something like Harden Zambrano Lilly Wells Hart I would rather Hart start Sunday against the Nats. I have more faith in him going 5-6 innings and giving up 2-3 runs, while giving us a chance to win against the Nats, then him try to do that against the Phillies.

    That's a pretty sub-par list for the AL - excluding Mauer. Pena leads the AL in HR with 24, Cruz is second with 22. Inge is third with 21. Mauer has 15. Why do you say its a sub par group? If anything Mauer is the one out of the group who is subpar. Especially considering Mauer has 4 HR since he hit #11 on May 23. 3 in June and 1 in Jul, so far. I had to be witness to one of those June HR's.....

    It depends how much of a Koyie Hill fan you are. Well, being a Wichita State fan, I love Koyie Hill. However, I would much rather have Soto out there.

    Would they just finish it tomorrow? yes Before or after the reg game? Before, probably. I remember we finished a game before the regularly scheduled game against the Pirates a couple years back.

    I hope his rehab start goes well and he is able to come back to the big league club and start on regular rest, next Friday. I'm going to be at that game and it would be awesome to see Rich.

    I remember him doing it a few times in 2007. I was watching him pitch against the Braves and he struck out Andruw Jones (I think) will that sidearm slider thing. My friend and I just looked at each other, like what was that? But it is a really good pitch, if he mixes it in every once in a while.

    I am so excited to be back with Dusty. Him and I are going to master the finer arts of tooth pick twirling and he is gonna play me, now that I can see the ball and hit it. Watch out for me this year, I will be tearing up an NL park near you!!!! \:D/

    I hope Looper didn't go to Notre Dame. Nope, Wichita State. Wichita State is in Hendry's old conference. Perhaps he loves MoVal guys just as much as he does ND guys. Looper was my boy but I don't want him on the Cubs.

    Aside from Weaver that package isn't great. Willits isn't much, Wood is decent but hasn't produced at all in a small sample size of major league games and Adenhart really struggled last year at AAA. I wouldn't say that it just crushes the Cubs offer.

    agreed. that's why derosa was really useful; you could shift him to LF or 3B when the inevitable ARam/soriano injury happened and not suffer a huge drop off when you slot fontenot in at 2B. now you're dropping off from ARam to aaron miles. call me crazy but i don't think aaron miles can give acceptable production for a corner infielder. I'm loving the sig.

    It will at least give him someone to talk to, until Taguchi gets cut. I just hope that Fuku doesn't have any of Taguchi's suck rub off on him because he doesn't need that.

    I would like to have Monday's Tribune shipped to me here in Kansas but I'm having trouble trying to find a way to do it on the Tribune site. Does anyone know how I could make this work? I would be a very happy person if someone could help me out.

    Actually, ARam is going to be announced as McCain's VP tomorrow and Aramis just gave him a little extra momentum going into it.
