  1. Keep hoping. Votto for Blanton? Sure. Anything more? No way Votto and Bailey or Cueto? Yeah right.
  2. That list makes me lol.
  3. I'd say 2004 was fairly eventful too. Chip and Steve, Walker's Superman slide, Sammy passes (or was it ties?) Banks and then Alou wins the game on the next swing, Maddux's 300th, four 30-homer guys on one team, etc. GOD I hate Danny Graves.
  4. I still want to know what the hell Paul Wilson was thinking. No doubt the Prior/Bonds moment was badass. I was at game 1 of the NLCS, probably the most amazing atmosphere for a game I have ever been too, or a close 2nd to Illinois/Arizona in the elite 8. The place was so electric after the Sammy homer. It's still not Steve Bartman's fault, and yes the music was awful.
  5. Giants (Wrigley L) Pretty sure I have seen everyone except the Rockies, Padres, and Dodgers.
  6. clearly, but when you're the laughingstock of the laughingstocks, it doesn't spell good things. You are really reaching here. Keep talking your sports trash on the internet. I'm sorry, there's this dumb feature on here that sometimes only allows me to read posts from fans whose teams have made the playoffs in the last decade. I keep pm'ing Tim to fix it, but he's busy. lolz This is sooo funny. Like omg. Hey look what happend the last time we made the playoffs.

  8. that sound you hear is the reds signing another reliever lol whats next, a yo momma joke? dusty baker paul bako reds last place these.....are.....so....funny....and.....original....lol? maybe i should make a billy goat or 100 year joke? those are just as original. how about this, you're in a division with a team that hasn't won a world series in a century...and you're the laughingstock. We are? That's news to me.
  9. that sound you hear is the reds signing another reliever lol whats next, a yo momma joke? Actually I'd probably go with another Reds suck joke. Cause, ya know, they do. No, seriously. Man with e-penis beat you to that one already.

  13. Because they claim annually that Javier Valentin is one of their best bats off the bench, so they keep a third catcher on the roster to enable the manager to PH with Valentin while still keeping a catcher on the bench. Not taking a swipe at you (more of a swipe at the Reds), but that is so not true it's not even funny. I'll be shocked (and pissed) if we carry 3 catchers this year.
  14. It was a minor league contract. He's insurance in case one of the catchers goes down. Yeah, that's really funny.
  15. That never gets old does it? Not as old as your face! OH SNAP! j/k. That does get old, but you gotta admit at one point it looked like the Reds were trying to get a monopoly on relievers It's just too bad none of them were any good.
  16. That never gets old does it?
  17. Volquez isn't in Bailey or Cueto's class. (Cueto's my personal favorite but Bailey has to be considered a better prospect.) I like Cueto the most out of the bunch as well.
  18. That was never going to happen anyway. In 34 innings (six starts) in 2007 with the Rangers, Volquez posted a 7.68 K/9 and a .750 OPSA. Volquez could turn out quite well. But he'll be a flyball pitcher with control issues in GABP. And he's a pitcher with some injury history playing for Dusty Baker. A risky young pithcer for a risky young outfielder. Seems fair enough.
  19. Bailey, Cueto, and now Volquez. The question becomes do we hang onto all of them or try to flip a pair for a move proven pitcher, i.e. Bedard.
  20. That was never going to happen anyway. In 34 innings (six starts) in 2007 with the Rangers, Volquez posted a 7.68 K/9 and a .750 OPSA.

  22. Good trade for the Rangers? They just traded pitching for hitting.
