  2. Notre Dame (home) Penn State (home, team Illinois beat) @ Northwestern Eastern Michigan Purdue Not murders row, and all but one were at home.
  3. lol @ the team that couldn't defend Appy State's spread stoping Illinois.
  4. Except Harang is nowhere near as much of a girl as Prior, and has already had seasons of throwing tons of pitches on his arm. Besides that, it will be the same.
  5. Per ESPN bottom line God help us.

  7. Anybody see that writing on the wall? I'll be shocked if BCast doesn't jump all over him. Mr. Krivsky's days could be numbered.

  9. Wayne Krivsky? Jared Burton was a pretty good rule 5 pick as well. I only mention this because Krivsky has taken such a beating on this board; he's actually managed to add a nice amount of talent to that team at a negligible cost, but his significant good moves tend to be brushed aside so we can make fun of him for trading obvious studs like Kearns and Lopez away for nothing. He has his flaws but yeah, you gotta give him some credit for recognizing talent. Lopez: .244/.306/.356 Kearns: .267/.350/.407 Replaced with: Gonzalez: .277/.330/.478 Hamilton: .297/.374/.566 Who would you rather have? How much of that is your ballpark vs. RFK? Not enough to make up the entire difference between each group.

  11. Just stop. Please. It's beyond annoying. OH THE HUMANITY!!!!!!!!
  12. The real news there is Votto, but I figured I'd share the Coats note.
  13. I love BP, but who is this "Ryan" Phillips you speak of?
  14. Here are the guys the Reds got back. Henry's stats Castro's stats

  16. HAHAHAHAHA He always makes in interesting, but gets it done. 2 of 3 from the Cubs 2 of 3 from the Brewers Not a bad road trip.
  17. 1 more Stormy.
  18. Whatever you do, don't let it get round to Prince or Bruan.
  19. Could've gone to pretty much any RH hitter and left Griffey in the OF next inning. We've gotta realize that this isn't a must win for the Reds where all the stops are gonna be pulled out. I was personally kinda surprised they hit Valentin for Jorgensen even. the reds(edit) haven't had a "must win" in years. they are still obligated to make the moves necessary to try to win everyday. i suppose they thought their best option was hamilton and i disagreed. They also have to do what's best for their organization, and allowing Hamilton to see big leauge lefty pitching is part of that. Fred McGriff '02 was a better hitter than Hee Seop Choi '02, but it didn't mean Fred McGriff should've been starting all those games down the stretch. Yep. The Reds aren't obligated to do anything other then what is best for the Reds.

There is nothing to disagree with. The only Rightys on the bench were Bellhorn (switch hitter) and Ellison. Hamilton was the right move. Stormy time in the 9th.
  22. Burton is NASTY.
  23. Hall is THE Reds killer.
