Agreed with that sentiment. We'd need to be confident we could resign Adam. Quick question, is there any chance this means absolutely nothing? No callup, no trade, nothing? Because that seems hard to believe. Barring the HIGHLY unlikely chance that both were injured, I would have to say no. This may be a very big night (or next day) for the cubs. PS- If it's Tex, I'm going to cry. Where would we play Tex? He's only a first base/DH right? He's played right field. When? (I didn't go past this year, but all his at bats were 1b and DH...not that I"m against it at all...just curious) Played in 25 games in the OF in 2003, amd 7 in 2005. Also played some 3rd base in 2003. He's one of the guys athletic enough I could see switching positions, unliek Glaus and Dunn.
