    I played left and center back through high school, and was always the guy who handled the headers off of goalie punts, especially in high school. I remember some of those late season games that it was so cold that the ball hitting your head felt like a rock. I think about those header competitions we used to have in practice and wonder what damage I did to myself. I don't notice any mental deficiency, but then I see those studies like that als one an wonder.

    Mine is probably Bones. Fringe was a step up from that show. I guess I could also say One Tree Hill, but no way, that show was the bees knees.

    99 was definitely one of those games that stuck out, especially that rizzo double. Just felt really important at the time.

    So on the way home from christmas, I commented to my wife that it was weird I didn't get one cubs related thing, especially since when my mom asked what I wanted, I had mentioned the 8 disc Blu ray. I told my wife that since I didn't get that, I'll just go and buy it myself since it's the one thing I really wanted. The next day, my wife (after texting with my mom) tells me that my mom did indeed buy it, but it apparently didn't come in time for christmas. That's cool, I'll take it a little late, no big deal. However, that's apparently not what is going to happen. She said that my mom is thinking about saving it for my birthday present. Which is in July. So what do I do about this? Do I suck it up and wait, or do I tell her I want it now, birthday be damned? I love Christmas, but this is exactly why I hate getting presents, because without presents I would already have this and have watched it a million times.

    I still have the in-laws Christmas to go, but surprisingly I have not gotten anything Cubs related for Christmas. I dont get many gifts, but the three I got, not one was Cubs related. Maybe my family thought the two beer related gifts would serve a better purpose helping me deal with my two kids.

    I also love how it was David Ross climbing over the top of the chair, and he did it as slowly and gingerly as he did exiting the dugout.

    There is no other way this could have happened. I was worried that throughout this postseason I wasnt feeling happy enough, or nervous enough, or sad enough, and I wondered if I just didnt care as much as I used to. But tonight, TONIGHT, I found out just how much I care about this team. This game brought out my true Cub fandom, and it was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. I will remember this night forever (if the multiple glasses of aged rum dont erase it).

    Buffalo chicken I was going to say this exact thing. My wife makes a lot of these frozen bagged crock pot meals and this is the best one by far.
