  1. I'd like to keep him around myself. If we trade Marshall for Peavy, then Marquis becomes our #6 starter when Zambrano/Harden miss their 30 combined stats. If not those starts are, apparently, not going to Kevin Hart because he's in the Peavy trade, not going to Chad Gaudin because he's apparently getting non-tendered. So apparently they're going to go to Mitch Atkins or Jeff Samardzija. The former sucks and the latter causes our already weakened bullpen to lose their second best option.
  2. So is the Zooker
  3. I'm still alive. Disappointed, but alive. And Meph, as you can see, my signature was killed. Thank God. I tried to block you when you had it. Didn't work.
  4. Baseball is probably the last thing on Henry's mind right now. Understandable, obviously, but that just happened recently.
  5. What's the deal. Have we decided not to keep him around?
  6. Zero. how far do you think they fall? 20-25.
  7. If I were Bruce, I wouldn't answer that question.
  8. For the love of god i hope nccubfan removes that ugly as [expletive] signature of his now. its annoying and stupid. don't bold, enlarge and make it red. its downright rude of him.
  9. oh man do you really want an entire board for me to praise myself in?
  10. Hey RedFlash, how about I make a deal with you. If Alabama loses you have to leave NSBB until after the National Title Game. If Alabama wins I won't mention Tim Tebow until after the National Title Game. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/media/alternatethumbnails/photogallery/2008-11/40599182-29202302.jpg
  11. Wait a minute, who changed my post!? I WANT THE OLD CONCLUSION BACK

  13. And so ends, the Legend of Tim Tebow...
  14. for then Saint Tim Tebow was mistaken for by the Police. He was taken into custody for molestation of a child and sentenced to death. So Saint Tim Tebow died and on the third down he rose and led the Gators to Greatness, before riding off into the Sunset (NFL).
  15. C'mon we're all having fun with it. Can you tell us the story where Chase Daniel put the Tigers on his back to defeat the hated Sooners in a title game after Mizzou had lost all their dignity?
  16. But then reality set in. Saint Tebow led the Gators against a Red Tide to survive, but the Tebow sacrificed himself for the Gators. And Florida was passed over for the Title game. And just like that, he was gone.
  17. Tim Tebow was the inspiration for Lennie in Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men.
  18. Tim Tebow has a screw loose and his uncle molests collies.
  19. Tomorrow's Florida and Alabama game has some other Legend of Saint Tebow stuff attached. T'was the Autumn of 2005. Hoover High of Alabama was supposed to be one of the best high school football teams ever assembled. They had a standout quarterback, a star receiver and studs across the roster. They even had a TV contract on MTV's Two-A-Days. In a game televised by ESPN, they played McNeese High School of Florida. McNeese had none of those, instead they had Tim Tebow. In a game witnessed by Hoover alum and current Crimson Tide John Parker Wilson, Tim Tebow showed the nation what he could do as McNeese upset and routed Hoover 50-29 by a sensational performance by Saint Tebow. And the Legend of Tim Tebow grows...
  20. The Legend of Tim Tebow. It was a sweet glistening night under the Friday Night Lights. It was in the December of 2005, the Year of USC Dynasty, or so it seemed. Tim Tebow's McNeese high school was in a dogfight for Florida High School football supremacy. McNeese had gotten gashed on run defense all night long, but the left arm of the record setting Tim Tebow had led them to a seven point lead. The lead, however, had dwindled late in the fourth quarter. Tebow was only months away from getting a free college education at the university of his choice, but that was not on his mind. Taking matter into his own hands, Saint Tebow checked himself into the game as nose tackle. His coaches did not know. His coaches need not know. Saint Tebow played the rest of the game as the nose tackle - and the running game was stopped and McNeese didn't give up another touchdown. And the Legend of Tim Tebow grows...
  21. Did Tim Tebow give up nearly 650 yards to Michigans offense and special teams?
  22. the problem with those articles is that the rust belt has just as many poor african americans, only the state's income is higher because of rich fat whites. in reality, the northern and southern schools are recruiting from a same racial base with respect to the one OMC was highlighting. It should also be of note that the southern schools also face competition from the acc for recruits in key states like georgia, florida and the carolinas. because of all the competition for elite recruits i think its more difficult to establish a long-term dynasty in the south nowadays than it would be at say Texas or USC or Ohio State. While UF may appear to be on the verge of a dynasty, look how quickly FSU and Miami crumbled.
