    And how fun would it be if he pulled his back and was out for the season?? Don't do it Z, although, that may not nessecarily be a bad thing. He wouldn't have to run the risk of Dusty damaging his arm.

    Too bad it comes far too late, as always. I bet as soon as this team becomes mathematically eliminated, they become the hottest team in baseball for a month. Of course, and Dusty gets his contract extension because of that month. And he plays veterens down the strecth to "maintian the integrity of the post-season races" further blocking Murton.

    If he is, more power to him. At least someone on the team realizes the Dust Bag has to go. I hope this is true. No matter how much I dislike Baker (which is a LOT), I would never want a player on my team who would ever intentionally lose a game for any reason. Dusty is going to lose his job the old fashioned way and I don't think he needs any help at this point. The faster the Dust Bag is out of here, the better.

    Well then you better hope the fans and/or players vote him in. B/c Ozzie won't. If he is on the final man ballot, I will stuff it with Mauer votes. Care to make a wager on this? Same here, I'll bet as well. Just b/c Ozzie is a prick doesn't mean he'll pass up a guy hitting close to .400 He's got a personal vendetta w/ Gardenhire. If the Twins have a rep and it's not Mauer, Ozzie won't take him. He has already said he will stack it with his guys and he doesn't care if he pisses off others. Link? Give it up, you have a personal vendetta with Guillen. He's a prick, but he'll still choose Mauer. I've read it in the Tribune and Sun-Times on numerous occasions.
