    If he is out for an extended time, I think the appropriate punishment would be for MLB to allow us to knockout Buerhle for life, and then as a punishment for their obnoxious fans, ask Furcal to ram into Konerko or Thome.

    I remember reading about the debate about best record and MLB said something that it would increase the number of cities where they need 10,000 hotel rooms on short notice from 4 to 7. I don't understand why they wouldn't need rooms in the cities of the other team???

    Foot in mouth. Ozzie took Konerko as long as a few other lone reps I think. He had to rep 4 teams. Then he took Konerko, Buerhle and Jenks.

    I meant that just b/c he has a WS title, he's not automatically a succesful manager. Dusty has been manager of the year 3 times, and he's not what I would call a succesful manager. Ozzie won't be succesful in the long run b/c of his inflamatory statements. He's going to say the wrong thing to the wrong person one day, and he will pay dearly for it. Heck, I think he'd have already paid if he had to face Carlos Lee since pissing him off, saying, "We had a guy go into 2nd base as if his wife was turning a double play." El horso still has a grudge against Ozzie, and one of the main reasons he has expressed interest in playing for us is so that he can stick it to Ozzie. I interpret that as going in hard to 2nd base the way he did when he injured Walker, with the intent of ending Iguchi's or Uribe's season.

    He's a MLB manager and the team he's currently managing just went and won the WS for the first time in almost under a century under his watch. Sounds pretty "successful" to me. WOW!! Winning the World Series does not automatically make you a succesful manager and give you a free ride to do whatever you want :roll: :roll: :roll: Don't tell me you wouldn't be calling for Dusty's head right now even if we had won the World Series in 2003.
