  1. I downloaded the song a while ago and I am listening to it right now. PM me w/ an email address.
  2. I'd do the above trade, just a few minor tweaks to it.
  3. My boss told me that once when Dusty Baker was a player, his manager asked him to steal 2nd, 3rd, and home in the bottom of the 9th inning to win a game. He did it.
  4. It should be high risk b/c Hendry signed him and depended on him being ready by May.
  5. One more time. NOBODY IS 100% OFF LIMITS! So you're telling me Lee and Zambrano can be traded?? The main reason for not trading Howry and Eyre are b/c they should be in our 2007 plans. The fact that it could put the White Sox over the top is a side thing. Cards offer you Pujols for Lee, you turn it down? The Cards gonna give us some dough to cover the difference in salaries??

  7. How about a manager who will play youth, value walks and OBP, keep unproductive veterens on the bench, and stop making dumb excuses??
  8. Saw that on Baseball tonight. That was awesome!!
  9. Shocking. I understand the reason behind not using Jose, but I thought he'd just have that village idiot start.
  10. It's all a PR thing in Venezuela and for MLB. Once again Ozzie is doing not because Maggs is qualified, but to keep is P.R. machine rolling in Venezuela. Well done, CBB. I meant in relation to his comments he was going to stack it with his guys and his lunatic rant calling him "a piece of [excrement]" and a "Venezuelan [explitive]"
  11. Dusty Baker is dumber.
  12. Great idea. The Chicago "ex-Cubs" managed by Ozzie Guillen find a way to win the World Series, while the Chicago "ex-White Sox" managed by Johnny B. Baker Jr. find a way to lose, and witness the entire rotation on the shelf.
  13. I saw it on SC last night and he got under the tag. Good call.
  14. It's all a PR thing in Venezuela and for MLB.
  15. Does he favor unproductive veterens over young players? Does he value walks and OBP? Does he "have" to play veterens in September when his team is out to maintian the integrity of playoff races? These are serious questions I'm asking BTW
  16. I don't need to chalk up an L on July 10, 11, 12, and 13
  17. Don't trade them unless we get a really, really, really good offer. These are 2 guys I want on my team in 2007. And to the White Sox and Cardinals, they should be 100% off-limits. Please give us one good, legitimate reason that makes sense to anyone beyond puberty. Cardinals - Division team. I don't want them mowing us down 20 times a year for the next 2 years White Sox - You tell them they are in the Cubs plans for 2007 (which they should be) and the fact that they're the guys that can get the White Sox over the top is what makes it 100% off-limits
  18. honestly I'd only trade him if ALL three off those come back. You'd have to wait until they all join the Yankees. :P :D
  19. Jim Hendry: Give us Broadway and Fields and you got a deal. You don't want to trade with the White Sox unless we fleece them... we get it. You're right. Some other team, (NOT the Cardinals) for Williamson, I'd command a AAA player 1-2 years away. It's inevitable that you're going to start saying the Sox and Cards have cooties. Just give in to the urge. NO!! The Cardinals b/c they are a division team. As for other teams, I said that they should have to cost a lot b/c they are in the plans for 2007, and for the White Sox they should be off-limits b/c of that, and the fact they're the guys to get them over the top.
  20. Jones has become one of our better hitters.
  21. Mauer was voted by the players. I said that if he wasn't and the Twins had a rep, Ozzie would not take him. So, your claim has absolutely no validity whatsoever. There's no reason to think Mauer would not have been taken. What's next in your list of ridiculous claims against the Sox? I'm guessing... 1. Ozzie will pitch Papelbon all nine innings. 2. Kenny Williams is a cannibal and ate Joe Mauer in order to prevent his playing in the ASG. 3. TIGERS R AMA ZING 4. Ozzie is a cyborg. To be fair, there was a direct quote from Guillen that he would take all his players after fulfilling the 1 player from each team need. I don't think it's absurd to think he'd pass over Mauer for another one of his players. That's excatly where my rational came from.

  23. NO!! Keep Z. He's our most reliable horse (no reference to Dusty's comments about his horses Pagan, Miller, and Bynum), and once the Dust Bag is canned, hopefully our new manager will use him right and won't injure him.
