  1. It doesn't look like the link will be put up tonight. Tomorrow morning, can someone post it for everyone else? Once the links go up on this page, just right-click and select "view source." When the source html comes up, hit control+f and search for "purchase.tickets.com," grab the url without the opentixxwindow code, and post it here. Or, if it's before the VWR starts, you can probably just click on the link, hit control+n, and grab the url from the address bar in the new window. You can then just post that url into a bunch of windows. There will be separate links for each game, but it should matter because they all go to the same VWR. At least they did for the NLDS.
  2. I'm not sure why they started using that designation, but as far as you're concerned, the "-3" meaningless.
  3. If this is 516, then it looks like row 1 seat 1 would be directly behind the pole.
  4. Are you sure about that? There is no section 501. The furthest 500-level section in left field is 503. Here's a view that'll show you how they could be obstructed. I'm pretty sure the Cubs only put "obstructed view" on their tickets if they're directly behind the pole, though.
  5. It says on the back of the tickets that they have to be returned, which is horribly inefficient. Even Ticketmaster just refunds the credit card immediately once an event is cancelled.
  6. It sounds more and more likely that Sutton will be out the rest of the season with his ankle injury and will apply for a medical hardship waiver. I'm not sure what his odds are of getting that after going down in the 1st quarter of the 2nd game of the year, though. Next was looking like the year to try to make a run, with both Sutton and Bacher graduating after the 2008 season, but now it could become interesting.
  7. Bah. I love the weekend times, but I was really hoping they'd get a primtime slot on Wednesday and Thursday. Guess I won't be getting much sleep those nights.
  8. NLCS Tickets go on sale at 10 AM through tickets.com and over the phone on Thursday, October 4. Looks like I'm out of luck.
  9. Did Henne lead the comeback or did Mallett? Henne played decently in the second half, but there was no "comeback." Northwestern turned it over in their own territory on 4 consecutive possessions in the 4th quarter. The game was handed to them. I guess the moral victory is that I don't believe Michigan fans outnumbered us this time. What was the score when they decided to do that? Your program just hasn't been the same since your coach died. It was 16-7 at the half and 16-14 going into the 4th quarter. The coaching staff has been horrible, but we played most of last season with a pair of runners at QB who couldn't throw and now we're without our best offensive player in Tyrell Sutton since early in the 2nd game of the year, the most explosive receiver in Andrew Brewer, who was lost for the year in August, and our best defensive player in safety Brendan Smith, who couldn't fully recover from shoulder surgery. Sutton may not be the most important offensive player (that distinction goes to Bacher), but he's not only one of the best backs in the Big Ten, he's also very important in the passing game. Conteh had a great game in his place yesterday, but they never would have abandoned the run in the 4th quarter if Sutton was in there. And there's a growing chance that Sutton could miss the remainder of the season with a high ankle sprain.

  11. Great choke job today. The offensive line just went to hell in the 4th quarter and the offense did a great job of giving the game away. That was a must win and they blew it despite taking it to Michigan all game long.
  12. Oh, and our best defensive player is now out for the season.
  13. Crap. Looks like mine were supposed to be delivered today, but no one was home to sign for them. Guess I'll be making a trip up to Skokie tonight to pick them up. :wall: Fortunately, Howard and Crawford isn't that far out of the way on my drive home. They're open until 9, too.
  14. Sutton won't be able to play this weekend, either, due to his high ankle sprain. What a terrible years this is...
  15. Most of them were out for delivery yesterday. They require signatures, though, so I'll be picking mine up from FedEx after work today. I don't like emailed tickets for two reasons: I like to keep ticket stubs (or the full ticket now that most places scan them) and they're harder to sell since some potential buyers don't trust them.
  16. Yea, in 2003, I only remember two day playoff games. Game 4 of the NLDS, and Game 5 of the NLCS. Both of which were on the weekend. And that Yankees game that was during the day was during the week. According to Tickets.com, tickets will be delivered by FedEx on Thursday afternoon.
  17. In 2003, I remember the Yankees being quite upset because one of their divisional series games was played during the day in favor of the Cubs playing in prime time. Of course, that changes now with the TBS deal. I wouldn't worry too much about the Cubs having to play during the day, though.
  18. He's also not going to just come out and admit that he's a very streaky hitter who can carry a team when he's on and will make you wonder if Neifi Perez could match his production when he's not. He's had some terrible months this year, but I don't think that should be a surprise to anyone. Let's just hope he keeps this going for another 5 weeks.
  19. I'd call on Monday. Ticketmaster's ticket limits would be fine with that, but I'm not sure about the Cubs. However, they don't cancel both orders if you go over the limit for the regular season and I'd doubt they'd do that for the playoffs. At worst they should cancel your second order and let you keep the first. But give them a call on Monday. So the person I talked to said that they will cancel one of my orders. Said he doesn't know which order and that they won't tell me which order. The only way to find out is to try using them or call the day before the game and then they might tell me. Damn...this sucks. If my 200 level seats get cancelled, I'm gonna be pissed. They must be too busy right now, but it's pretty ridiculous. I'd try again tomorrow. Either way, though, the orders will have been processed by the end of the week, so there's no reason they wouldn't know by Monday.
  20. Yeah, season tickets holders already had a bunch posted online before they went on sale.
  21. According to the Trib, roughly only 7,500 tickets were released for each playoff game.
  22. Yeah, pretty much. I'll take it though. Oh, it's a great move. Especially when you're going to use Wood out of the 'pen, who needs more time than probably anyone else to get ready. TEX!!
  23. The official word that it's cramping came that quickly? They're so faking it.
  24. The odds are it's mostly them using it as an excuse to pull Zambrano after breaking the game open but since they didn't have anyone ready in time for the top half of the inning, he would have had to go out there at least to start it.
