  1. So, 106-110 may very well be obstructed? You may actually be okay. I sat in 505 row 6 a month ago but in seats 7-9, I believe. I sat in seat 9 and had to lean over to my right to see home plate. In seat 8, you had to lean to you left. Seat 7 was fine. It's hard to tell in your case, but because you're that far away from the aisle and the pillar look to be directly in front of row 1 seat 101, I think you might be fine.
  2. I'd recommend looking from a section on the other side of the field to figure out exactly where the seats are and where the pillars are. Remember that the 1xx seat numbers are on the left side of the aisle if you're looking towards the field (on the right if you're looking from the field) and the single digit seat numbers on the right side.
  3. Front row bleachers? Do you have any kids you'd like to put through college on those tickets?
  4. I've got 4 for game 4 in section 204 row 17. My game 3 tickets are in 503 row 4, but my older brother got 4 game 3 tickets in the right field equivalent of section 204, so it'd basically be the same view. Are those obstructed? (I haven't been to Wrigley in ages) Section 204 shouldn't be. I'm pretty sure that's the section where the overhang ends and the pillars are further back in those sections. They should be out in the open, but I can't say for sure.
  5. I've got 4 for game 4 in section 204 row 17. My game 3 tickets are in 503 row 4, but my older brother got 4 game 3 tickets in the right field equivalent of section 204, so it'd basically be the same view. By the way, for those thinking about selling, I'd recommend waiting until after the Cubs clinched (if). You'd still have enough time and the demand would be a lot higher. Also, be aware that you'd probably have to be open to a refund if you sell game 4 tickets and that doesn't get played. Game 4 tickets would also be in higher demand once that game is guaranteed (if the teams split the first two games), but you would have very little time to sell them.
  6. I love how many people are scoring bleacher tickets 20 minutes after my 'best available' were section 516. Well, bleacher tickets don't come up when you search best available. It probably wouldn't have been worth the risk to try for just bleacher tickets.
  7. Maybe. But I'm guessing that to the casual fans with money that want to be cool and go to a Cubs playoff game, they'll be more inclined to pay more for tickets in a section that begins with 2 rather than a section that begins with 5. Either way, I don't think that selling them will be a problem for either one of us. True. I'm trying to figure out if I want to sell one of my games or go to both. I'm a little worried game 4 could be a Sunday night game, which would conflict with the Bears/Packers SNF game. Of course, it'd be an 8:00 start, which really should be reserved for a west coast game.
  8. I'd call on Monday. Ticketmaster's ticket limits would be fine with that, but I'm not sure about the Cubs. However, they don't cancel both orders if you go over the limit for the regular season and I'd doubt they'd do that for the playoffs. At worst they should cancel your second order and let you keep the first. But give them a call on Monday.
  9. Sweet. I was able to get 4 super crappy seats in 503 for game 3. My younger brother got 4 seats in the corner for game 4 and my older brother got 4 seats in the corner for game 3.
  10. Were there problems with it for February? It worked well for me. I've got 150 tabs open split between three Firefox windows and an additional 50+ IE6 windows open.
  11. I'm having the same problem.. You have to open blank windows first and then paste the url into each one: http://frontline.purchasenow3.tickets.com/buy/MLBEventInfo?orgid=21477&trxstate=8&pid=6095230&roomid=5
  12. If they lock out Control+N, which they should do, just paste it in as many windows as you want.
  13. It looks like the scheduled gametimes for October 6th are 4:30 and 8. The times are 11, 2:30, and 6 on October 7th if needed.
  14. We're not going to escape this game alive (literally). Ohio State is going after their heads and they've already knocked out two players. One was just a horribly vicious blind-side helmet-to-helmet special teams block. If Illinois has a decent team, this weekend will screw recruiting for several years.
  15. No Sutton at all today. Just wonderful.
  16. Here are the direct links: Game 3 and game 4
  17. Thank goodness Sutton will return for this game. He's definitely been missed, mostly because of our fear of running the ball. Sure the offensive line sucks, but they're not good at pass protection, either. I really miss the days of our 2000 run-first spread. There's no reason Bacher should be passing 50+ times a game. I'd love to see the defense's numbers by half. They'd probably be ranked last in the country in the first half and in the top 25% in the second half. They can't afford to suck it up tomorrow, especially when they won't have a chance to get into the backfield. But really I'm mostly just looking forward to watching the 2000 NU/Michigan game several times next week on the BTN.
  18. Finally got around to watching the US/Brazil match and it sure looked like I missed a pretty entertaining one. The officiating was a shame, but I was impressed overall.
  19. I'd like to personally thank the officials for the 60 minute screwjob we received. The few phantom calls on Duke in the 2nd half were nice and all, but they really went all out to make sure one of the least penalized teams in the country racked up 13 penalties for 125 yards. What an absolute embarrassment. We were so horribly out-coached that I don't know where to start. How nice it would have been if we had taken those 5 FG attempts, including taking 3 points off the board to set up a 4th and 3.
  20. I can't say I expected a Michigan blowout so quickly.
  21. Michigan is apparently trying not to score a TD now.
  22. The officials blew that call in two ways amazingly. Not only was it a fumble, but if it was a pass, his arm was angled to make a backwards pass and the ball did go backwards. Impressive.
  23. I'm not sure any team in the Big Ten scares me more than Purdue. We'll see if anyone can stop that offense.
  24. I haven't been watching much, but what's going on with Penn State's offense? They're tied 3-3 against Buffalo late in the 2nd quarter.
  25. What do you mean by no night Big Ten games this year? Wisconsin v. Iowa next week is at night. Should be a great game. I live next to Ryan field, looks like all the night game lights are set up. Should be a good atmosphere. No Big Ten night games this season for Northwestern at home, I mean. We only get one a year and this is it. I've heard that they won't allow tailgating after the game, so you probably won't be in for much noise after the game.
