    They go from looking like 8 wins is a solid possibility to needing to take 2 of their last 3 to get a bowl bid.

    This is just embarrassing. The offense has crapped the bed big time.

    Purdue's offense wakes up and Northwestern's has screwed them. They better freakin' show up next week.

    If the offense had a normal game so far this one would be over. Instead, they've sure sucked at times today. Yet another three-and-out.

    And just like that it's first and goal. If the defense had just made that stop, it would have been an entirely different game in terms of momentum. And now it's Purdue's decision on whether to try on 4th and goal at the half-yard line.

    A huge 3rd and long conversion for Purdue with a 15 yard late hit penalty and here comes the avalanche...

    Not sure why Northwestern didn't go for it on 4th and goal from the 1. The worst case scenario would be Purdue starting at their own 1 or 2 yard line. The defense has actually been playing well and Fitz still hasn't gotten over taking points off the board early on against Duke that really screwed them for the rest of the game. I was 50/50 on the decision. I just hope it was the right move. We'll see. And there's blown turnover #5.

    Crap. 1st and goal inside the 5 and they have to settle for a FG. 17-14.

    Should be channel 218 Thanks. In HD this week, too. NU has turned it over 4 times to Purdue's 0...and the Purdue fans are booing. It's 14-14 heading into the half, although Purdue starts with the ball. CJ looked just horrible that half. Bad decisions and even worse throws. He hasn't been able to connect on some big potential plays with wide open receivers. And yet it's looking up for the second half.

    Despite a blown wide open deep TD pass and Sutton leaving with another injury, NU gets back in it. 14-7.

    CJ looks like crap with two interceptions and Purdue has recovered both of their fumbles, with one being in the end zone on third down for a TD. And when they do strip the ball and take it away, it's not ruled a fumble.

    Figures that this game would start with a pair of defensive stops (pick by CJ off a deflection deep in Purdue territory, defensive stop in Purdue territory for NU).

    Thanks to the BTN, all but 3 of Northwestern's games will be on TV. I love it. Of course, we'll probably be without Kevin Coble for a while... Plus all games on the BTN starting this week will be broadcast in HD.

    Chelsea sure got some breaks with their first goal (gift by the GK), their second goal (albeit impressive, the flag should have been up), Larsen's header off the post that went right to the GK, and the official swallowing his whistle on what should have been a red card when Larsen was brought down from behind with an open chance just outside the box. It looks like Adu played at least some for Benfica today. He was the first one in to celebrate their game-winning goal at the end of their match with Celtic. Oh, and the Real Madrid match had a great last few minutes.

    Just finished the Rangers/Barca match. Not bad, and it was nice to see Beasley get in there.

    Has Tyrus died? Not this crap again, Skiles. Yea Im not sure what is up with Tyrus, makes no sense. Id much rather him start than Noah(its going to take a long time for me to like this goofball). Question for those who have been to the UC for Bulls game. How is the views from most of the seating around the stadium? Is there a lot of bad views, or is pretty much anywhere a good seat? Thinking about going to my first Bulls game ever against the Celtics in Dec and the tickets are Upper Level Baseline 310. I can get them for 40 bucks a piece, should I? Yeah, those seats are fine. I don't think there are any bad views in the place. I've sat in 310, albeit in the back where the $10 seats are, and my only complaint would be the leg room.

    After looking at the secondary market, now I'm just depressed. Of course, we should all be thankful that several years ago Tickets.com increased their server capacity for processing orders once tickets were reserved. It can still be a pain to get tickets once you get through the VWR, but it's nothing like it used to be early on with the VWR. I feel bad for those who had seats come up only to have them time out and then not get any more.

    It says all 3 games are sold out now. You can probably stop trying. And my windows stopped refreshing, anyways. Oh, well.

    My windows stopped going to page not found about 15 minutes ago and are now refreshing normally, so even though they're probably all sold out, I guess I'll keep them going.
