    Soto has struggled to time those outside pitches today.

    That was not a good decision by Cedeno. He's seeing the ball well and you've got a pitcher on the mound who is walking a lot of guys. Of course, a successful bunt for a hit would have endeared him to Piniella.

    I'm personally waiting for my Raisin/Vitters save the date card. was in reply to: Wasn't he going to be a top 5 pick no matter what? I get the feeling people are just hoping that he becomes a bust and the guy they wanted the cubs to pick become an all star so they can say I told you so. He is 18 right? He got really sick in his senior season, and it took a while to recover. Other than that I don't see anything that would really change the opinion of him. Yes, it sucks that he got hurt in May, but it is May and he is 18. It seems like he is destined to be over criticized by everyone just because the cubbies didn't take their guy. Are you really disputing the Raisin's point that Vitters was going to be a top 5 pick and that there was not a pick in this draft without a flaw? That's all he said.

    Was it this one? Yeah, that's it. Thanks. I'm glad it was only back stiffness. Even if he's fine for his next start, though, I'd have to believe that this is a blow to his chances for returning in the next few weeks. Marshall may very well pass Hill and since Piniella wants two lefties in the rotation but only two lefties, if Marshall has some success, Hill might be spending a decent amount of time in Iowa.

    There was a recent article in which Hill talked about how he was struggling to keep his arm up. I can't find it for the life of me. Still no update on Hill, by the way.
