On his show today...he said the Cubs are a lock to lose before making it to the WS. Ok. But, his reasoning?: 1) Pressure. He kept saying "Look at what the Cubs have done in August...they aren't hot!" Good thing he did this segment today and not on Friday. The Cubs won 20 games in August. 2) He mentioned that Fukudome has been awful. Ok, but he's been awful since June. 3) Z's struggles. He also went on some rant about how superior the AL is compared to the NL and how the NL playoffs are usually determined by who is hot at the time. He insinuates that the Cubs are not hot right now and the pressure has gotten to them and they've peaked. He's so arrogant and times like today make me realize why I don't listen to his show very often. I think it's a defendable position to say that the Cubs will get beat in the NL playoffs (there are real concerns), but to be so matter of fact based on the reasons he gave? [-X
