    Or does it mean he starts Marquis and that why he got pulled a little early? He did pitch 93 pitches. I don't want Marquis anywhere near that Marlins lineup.

    Eff, I really hate Lou sometimes.

    Lou continues to show that he has no idea how to manage a bullpen. You don't pull your starter after 5 1/3 innings with a 6 run lead and the bottom of the order coming up.

    I would strongly consider it. We should still put someone else in RF, Kosuke is as much of a liability as the pitcher these days.

    I'm no swing expert, but it looks like he pulls off the ball outside. It seems like he gets a steady diet of away, away, away and isn't able to do anything with it. I agree. I don't know why he hasn't adjusted to that, it seems obvious. It makes me wonder what kind of pitches he saw in Japan to have the success that he did.

    Fukudome's last hit was a week ago and he is 3 for his last 35. :blush:

    It amazes me that someone who watch every game can still defend Kosuke.

    pass. He's Gary Gaetti 2008 Disagree, I don't recall Gaetti playing this well in '98. While I think it's foolish to get too caught up in what Edmonds is doing...it's not completely out of the question to think about bringing him back.

    Agreed. I hate when people say that as well. Not to mention, for a club with WS aspirations, Marquis is likely well below average...even for a 5th starter.

    It sucks that we have to face these guys with Chipper and McCann? Weren't they both out when the Braves played St. Louis and Milwaukee?

    The thing that I hate about DH's is that, unless it's followed by an off day, it just kills your bullpen for a few days.

    LOL, that stood out to me as well. If he hasn't hit a bad stretch yet...yikes. I'm somewhat shocked that he hasn't heard any boos whatsoever yet. Jacque would be absolutely hated if he were hitting like Kosuke is right now.

    Maybe he's just frustrated, but he sounded annoyed to me. He also sounds like someone that is hesitant to listen to advice and coaching. that seems like a leap. i'd like to know what the question was before i jump to that conclusion. if the question was something along the lines of, "Why hasn't the hitting coach been able to help you correct things?" then it reads like he's defending his coach. Good point.

    I completely disagree. Kosuke sounds like he is brushing off Lou's comments.
