    I have never been happier to be wrong. I HATED the Edmonds signing. Hated it. I wanted Pie to play CF and even if he got hurt, I didn't want Edmonds near this team because it looked like he had absolutely nothing left. I was wrong.

    Parra's a pretty good pitcher, this will be another tough game. Hopefully the Cubs continue to be patient and get into the Brewers bullpen.

    People need to stop being so defensive when anyone questions Lou. He has done well at changing the offensive approach of this team and holding players accountable BUT his use of the bullpen is as bad as it gets. For starters, when Z was at ~ 100 pitches after 7, you simply have to take him out there. Our BP can close out a 6 run game in the 8th. Then, the lead is pushed to 7 and you bring in the Shark instead of Eyre? Eyre hasn't pitched in WEEKS! Let him go out there, even if he allows 4-5 runs, we still win comfortably. Then, you likely have the Shark available for the final two games of the series, instead of just one of the games. He just takes completely unnecessary risks. Keep in mind, there were a lot of complaints about Marmol's usage and they proved to be completely warranted. It doesn't take a genius to figure this stuff out.

    JOHNSOWNED!! Nelson was totally scared of his power. If Lou brings up Ward here..... ugh. Who do you suggest? Z? DeRo? Hell, even Marquis. I'll gladly eat the crow if proven wrong, but this will not end well. Calm down. PH-ing v. RHP is Ward's role. And Marquis is an awful hitter.

    I hate to be pessimistic...but is anyone waiting for the other shoe to drop with regards to Dempster? I'm not talking about a long term collapse, but I'm afraid he's due for a dead arm period at some point.

    Cubs agreed to move them to 1:20 to address neighborhood traffic concerns. I think they might have gotten extra night games in exchange, too. Thank you. I remember now.

    Prior to this year, I think you may be on to something. However, during the week, even at Wrigley...the format is two night games followed by a day game.

    WTF has happened to Derrek Lee? It's like he's guessing out there. He had his mind made up that he was going to swing at that 2-0 pitch, no matter what. The team has also lost it's patience. I'm very, very worried. This team simply can't win on the road.
