  1. Can Roschon play that quick after a concussion protocol? I never know how that stuff works. Either way its not a great situation to have such a banged up RB corp, although it is, theoretically, the position that is among the most replaceable
  2. I'll say this: If the O-line plays like this consistently and you continue to get HOF caliber play from Moore, Fields will be fine.
  3. I could count only one play last night where Fields held the ball way too long and took an unnecessary sack. Progress!
  4. It's hard to imagine a more disastrous outcome from that trade. Gave up a top 2nd rounder, got fewer than 20 catches over the course of roughly a season, is a toxic presence, and then traded for something less than a 6th round pick. Not great, Ryan!
  5. Jesus Christ. Thats all we're going to get for Claypool? I had low expectations, but like, a 5th rounder low. I think I still like Poles's overall vision, but his specific scouting has been.....very spotty
  6. By the way, can we do something about all these high snaps? There were at least a half dozen that almost went over Fields' head, and only by his incredible athleticism did we miss several broken plays
  7. Yeah I feel for Mooney. He's struggled through some *bad* QB play in his early career, and he's been dependable and done as much as he can out there. Here's hoping that as defenses will superduper-extra key on DJ Moore (not that they haven't already) it opens up some more opportunities for him.
  8. DJ Moore has the talent to be in the HOF. Will he accumulate the stats he needs if he’s on the Bears for the rest of his career? It probably doesnt help him, lmao Proud to see Fields put two great games back to back. Let’s go folks, let’s see what he can do with the rest of the season
  9. Yeah I wrote that before I saw the missed field goal lol
  10. This is the equivalent of a game winning drive opportunity for Fields LET HIM THROW THE BALL PLEASE
  11. Third and a million yards….Washington has us where they want us
  12. Very oddly reff’d game. Definitely biased against the Bears and hilariously it shouldn’t matter, but the Bears should win going away and they are instead too stupid and injured to just blow a team out
  13. If there’s one thing the Bears defense loves to do, it’s give up conversions on 3rd and long
  14. MAYBE DONT JUST CALL TWO USELESS RUNS TO START OFF THE PIVOTAL DRIVE AND LET FIELDS THROW ON FIRST OR SECOND DOWN GOOD GOD
  15. 30 points is nothing special in the NFL in 2023, it’s far from a win guarantee
  16. I think more or less Fields will have to win this game again
  17. I’m a tad confused why when you’re down to literally using your fullback as a running back you run two plays in a row smashing him into the line for like 2 yards Oh well whatever
  18. If the Bears manage to lose this game Eberflus needs to be fired tomorrow TOMORROW
  19. Eberflus is a clown, but I’m glad I didn’t completely give up hope on Fields
  20. I’m gonna end up super mad they lost the Denver game arent I
  21. We’re rather depressingly back in the position of watching these games solely to evaluate whatever young talent we have, so a win doesn’t bother me. I’m not rooting for losses either because this team is gonna have a top 5 pick most likely anyway, and I’m over being excited for top picks for this administration. I just want to see the team competitive again
  22. Hey, listen guys. The Bears are underperforming their pythagorean expected winning percentage: by the numbers they should have 0.8 wins by now. So factor that in. (I'm putting some money on Washington)
  23. We're sadly back in the same position of just hoping Fields looks pretty good because there's very little of interest to think about for the rest of the season.
  24. I think you kick the field goal and if you lose, at least you can be mad at the defense (who cares), and Fields and the offense can feel good about the final drive. This is where my brain is now, managing the psychological make up of our QB, not winning games really
  25. He should be fired today. But if not, he should be fired on Friday.
