  1. I know what I said before, and I stand by it. Now is when all the bad stuff happens.
  2. Uh oh. That ball was close to being crushed. I worry for our 2 run lead in the hands of either Lilly or our Bullpen.
  3. If we end up with a lead in every single game this series but get swept....I don't know what I'm gonna do.
  4. Uh...who cares. He's reached base in every game he's played, which IMO, is far more important. Anyway hes gonna get at least one more at bat.
  5. Jacque Jones isn't the worst baseball player in the league. Its not even close. But it certainly looks liek he tries to be.
  6. If Jacque Jones does anything possibly good here I'll be amazed.
  7. Ooof, come on Soriano. That Walk to Strike Out ratio is pathetic.
  8. Just took a glance at the pitching excellence of Sidney Ponson vs. Chad Durbin. Jesus, why doesn't anyone in Minnesota realize that the only thing that happens when Sidney Ponson starts is that he gives up more runs than records outs. ANYONE, EVEN A SINGLE A PITCHER IS BETTER THAN HIM.
  9. It is when Floyd and Izturis are in the lineup. what more do you want izturis to do today? To be out of the lineup? One day's game != a careers worth of sucking
  10. Well nothings changed, ball at your feet? Gotta swing baby.
  11. Yeah, the Cubs don't get to the fourth batter in the inning, yay!
  12. Bleh, I knew that whole at bat he wasn't going to reach, but he didn't have to do that.
  13. Yay, after talkng about how awesome Derrek Lee is, he gets a nice hit. Come on, we could use another Aramabomb!
  14. Hovering around .500 > 2006 Cubs Plus, we'll still be in the race if we stick to .500. That is, if the Brewers come back to Earth.
  15. He won't go anywhere. Yeah, I know. This is as far as we're going to get with him, I'm now convinced of that. Maybe an ECF appearance, but he is a terrible in-game adjuster. Agreed.
  16. Looks like a good pitching match up for us, too bad we lose anyway.
  17. At least you can expect all of them to be .500+ish I was pretty heartbroken with the Bears season, but they at least went further than I ever could have imagined. I still can't realy even wrap my head around the fact that they were in the Superbowl. Bulls kinda dissapointed me on the last day of the season and lost the inside track towards the Eastern Conference Championship, but at least they laid the beatdown on the Heat. We all knew this year wasn't a championship team. Lets wait for the draft. The Cubs...well we still have a ways to go. Looks like the pitching is coming back down to Earth though. :(
  18. I love the double switch, because Izturis batting in the pitchers spot is pretty much just as bad as hitting the pitcher. ANd just as I type this he gets a lame hit. Thanks for backing me up, Cesar.
  19. Michael Wuertz continues to be the best reliever in baseball.
