It's impossible for me to really look back on 2016 without the knowledge that they'd run the table but I feel like it was pretty clear that team was gonna be dominant all season long and it was never close. This team's dominance is definitely more of a surprise (of course it may end at any moment), but that team also had something very fun : a young crew coming all up at the same time who were hitting their primes concurrently. We have PCA of course, but not the same stacked graduating class like in 2016 (Schwarbs aside, because of the ACL tear) Also that pitching staff was insane, and very fun.
I'm not having MORE fun than 2016, but its been, and I am confident, will continue to be fun.
