I actually never knew where the "Geovany Soto" meme came from so that taught me something. I totally forgot Jason Kendall was on this team for like 20 minutes too
  2. BigSlick
Oh. I guess Geovany Soto is on the Angels now. Well, good for him, I guess.

i'm so happy that I can't even type my posts out correctly, is what it is
  4. BigSlick
Can i tell you how happy Dexter Fowler is on this team again I can't even find the words
  5. BigSlick
    more strikes
  6. BigSlick
I guess I can't complain about the Sczcur over Schwarber now
  7. BigSlick
I still think Matt Sczcur is a chump but you know its going good when he's getting ribbies

    Dex is a [expletive] machine
  9. BigSlick
    I'll take it
  10. BigSlick
Zobrist is not really endearing himself to me in his first game
  11. BigSlick
Miguel Montero rules and Dexter Fowler continues to rule
  12. BigSlick
Just wanna pop in and say Dexter Fowler owns
  13. BigSlick
I kinda really hate Shane Victorino so I don't want him to make the team for totally petty reasons If Munanori Kawasaki could get a job just sitting on the bench and never playing, that would be great

I've been out of the loop the last few months with so little baseball news and I'm shocked to see there's no market for Fowler and the expectation is 2/20 for him right now. The sentimental part of me wouldn't mind seeing him back at that cheap of a cost even though it means we have some giant logjam at outfield. I just love Dex so much. Don't make me your general manager.

The three most important relievers on the Cubs: Grimm, Strop and Rondon, will collectively cost them less than 10 million next year. I can deal with that.

I like this move because Todd Frazier was incredibly annoying to play against so we'll get ~10 fewer games against him

I count my blessings that I have barely watched this team this year There have been few Bears teams that have so actively punished you for being a fan as this one

was this posted in a 3 point game with like 8 minutes left (and the bears having just completed two longish pass plays - i think this came before that bubble screen check on 3rd down)? yep Calculated to enragify David on the NSBB board more than anyone. Get angry about it dude I don't even have the game on lol

Just popping in to say since I've been serious about watching the Chicago Bears they have never once beaten the usually not very good Washington Redskins. They're going to be 0-6 against a franchise that has been worse than them over the last 10 or so years It's just frustrating
  23. BigSlick
I will take 1 Jonathon Lucroy and 1 Shoot David Ross into space, please

Wish we could have gotten a much younger Ben Zobrist but he's still playing his pants off and is a very good player to have on your team. Had to look it up but was shocked to see he hasn't put in an OPS+ under 100 in the past 6 years, he's a damn good player.

It was nice that he got to redeem his 2015 a little bit at the end of the year, and had some nice moments in the playoffs. I never formed the same bond with Castro that most of y'all did because from about 2012 to 2014 I was for the most part tuned out, which was extremely nice. Hope for the best for him out there, but I don't like the sound of the New York media and Castro put together, there might be some gnashing of teeth there. Don't really know what the return is like. Adam Warren seems...decent. Feels like we got a half dozen swing-type guys now with Clayton Richard, Travis Wood, Trevor Cahill and now Warren.
