    i gotta say as fake rallies go, this team hasn't subjected me to it with as much emotional swings as some previous cubs teams. this team just wins without much drama most of the time, which is nice

    So Montero is actually a better pitch framer than David Ross, and yet Ross still has a roster spot and starts several games a week I mean, it can't be helped at this point, but what the heck is Lester on about with this guy?

    Bullpen Day may be our best 3rd pitcher, so I don't feel too bad about it

    I've only been to 2 games so far this year, Soler's 2 donger night earlier in the season against the Reds, and Schwarber 2 donger day against the Brewers I need to go to more games

    1.65 ERA is really impressive though kershaw is better than both of them I just checked the numbers and holy moly I had no idea Kershaw had 11+ K/9, 272 Ks, and a FIP 70 points lower than Greinke. If Jake gets the Cy Young he'd be robbing someone, but its also a silly arbitrary award that regularly goes to the best narrative and I think Jake has sealed that.

    yeah I really want David Price and maybe one more starter, I'd be willing to part with some talent to get another good to great starter because hot damn the H's aren't doing it for me

    I remember looking at Angel Pagan's numbers and they were even shockingly worse than Castro That Starlin has dragged his OPS into the .650s is a herculean effort
