I don't believe in "power pitching beats power hitting" as like some repeated fact, but our particular hitters are vulnerable to a type of pitcher, and, most of our hitters entered a slump right as the playoffs started

If this team can't score more than 2 runs in a game, then they aren't gonna be able to move on. It's just that simple. You can point at defensive miscues and some pitching hiccups, and they're real, but at the end of the day you can't win with this run production.

The scary thing about this game was that aside from that first inning (and still not retaining his best control) Arrieta was good. You just can't win on 1 run unless you have God Mode Arrieta.
