"Obviously, the pick is the Cubs in the National League," quipped one NL exec. "So I like the Dodgers." "Too much hype about the Cubs," said another. "Out of principle, I won't pick them," said an AL exec. God these people are morons
I don't like that wild card teams get several days to get their horsefeathers together and then another couple days before the DS. Play the day after the season, and then start the Divisional Series the next day. I say this because I've been needing meaningful baseball for more than a month now.
Lol the Cardinals take the lead of course, but it's suddenly becoming a delicious option for them to go on a 6 game winning streak to end the season and still miss the playoffs
In the most most not-caring way I can possibly say it, it's not help my playoff nervousness that our starters have all given us meh to bad performances leading into the playoffs
This Robin Ventura thing is hilarious to me because its like the White Sox are trying to make accomplishing basic baseball tasks as weird, as strange, and as wrong as possible Just fire him. Or keep him. What the hell is this garbage? Anyway they suck and will suck for a long time
The Bears being horrific and boring is really cramping my work routine. Usually I listen to completely mind-numbing sports radio during the day, but because its football season and they usually load up on football guests on shows like 670, I just have to listen to a bunch of boring garbage about how bad the Bears are. I need them to either get interesting, or to have fewer football guests. Or for me to load up on more podcasts. Thats probably what I should do.
