  1. Heyward, if you hit a home run, literally this entire regular season will be forgotten forever
  2. well at least the Cubs are seeing the ball better
  3. We're not gonna get no-hit and we're not gonna get shut out
  4. i'm absolutely despondent that Rizzo ball went foul not just for the game but also for Anthony himself
  5. oh so that has to go foul huh? horsefeathers you god
  6. Wow this just looks so *easy* for Kershaw This is quite unenjoyable!
  7. can you please give kyle that horsefeathering strike there
  8. Kershaw is the one dude, seriously, pretty much the one dude, where working the count doesn't really work. He's also dealing and the ump is being generous with his zone. It's gonna be a hard night to get runs off him.
  9. We ask him to be the guy with the best ERA in the NL. It's not like he's some 5th starter. Joe only asked 6 innings out of Lester last night...he's clearly going to work the bullpen much more than he would during the regular season, especially as Hendricks is a righty
  10. lol at Willson not even pretending to swing at those first 2 pitches
  11. Well done Kyle. Shape it up and give us a couple more good innings and we get everything we asked out of you.
  12. it looked better in real time, i give Contreras credit I'm also a spiteful homer and have begun to really despise Utley since he joined LA
  13. lol where were you running to Utley? God you big idiot that was an obvious strike
  14. they've already sucked some of the drama out of the games - like when Travis Wood crushed a home run while they were interviewing...someone
  15. lol I took a nap at 2 pm and when i went to check the score to see how much the Bears won by I just laughed and closed the browser. This is for sure the worst Bears team I've ever seen and that 2002 Bears team was really godawful. I wasn't watching those late 90s teams when they went 4-12 like every season though. Thank god for the Cubs.
  16. Remember how he destroyed the ball when he got off the DL this year? He's there, somewhere, lurking
  17. Of course not, but hopefully closers are abolished soon
  18. Kinda rich to bring up the mean Cubs having a top 5 payroll when the Dodgers have a 300 million dollar payroll and are just, like, ok
