Even in some hypothetical reality where Heyward gets to that ball, he likely has to dive, get up, and then get an accurate throw to home to keep the runner on 3rd from scoring. It's far from certain we stop the run from scoring. I also can't expect any player to complete an inside the park home run on a relatively shallow ball hit down the line that's misplayed. It just...is a completely and totally uncommon, difficult play. I don't think we had a single inside the parker this year.
