I probably felt better about the team after the loss more than anything. They went blow for blow with one of the best teams in the NFC on the road and the offense and Caleb are legit. The defense is crap but that’s nothing new. re: Purdy, I get being frustrated with the love he was getting from Collinsworth over Caleb, it’s horsefeathers ridiculous. But at the same time, he is horsefeathers good. The disrespect he gets is pretty ridiculous at this point. He’s accurate as hell, he gives his receivers tremendous opportunity for YAC, he doesn’t take a lot of sacks. He’s had some injuries the last couple years but he’s a legit good Qb.

    oh my god...... drops
  4. BigSlick
what a helluva time for Colston Loveland to have his first drop

It's like the 2013 Bears, except the Offense is actually good and not just Cutler/McCown throwing balls up to Alshon Jeffery. Oh and they have an actually smart coach and not one of the dumbest to ever hold the position
  6. BigSlick
Actually.... thats far from the worst thing to happen. They are leaving us a lot of time to drive.
  7. BigSlick
Getting held to 3 points here is pretty much game, given how the defense has played

daaaaaaamn i was really not feeling the go for it there but damn did that look nice

SF D-Line is getting a lot of penetration...

I really hate the new kick off rules

Bears Offense: Gutsy, long drive to tie the game Bears Defense: Let's just give up 25 yards immediately

I hope he’s enjoying the 2025 Bears, wherever he is

I'm ok with the trade of having buttcheeks defense and an actual professional (good, even!) offense. I got what I wanted, I can't complain about it.

That call is pretty crummy... I mean they kinda have to call it, but it really didn't influence the receiver or the play at all. Oh well.

the Bears will probably lose but this game rocks already I love Caleb Williams
  16. BigSlick
lmao at Kyle Monangai trying to "evade" someone in open space (run them over)
  17. BigSlick
I expected the Bears to not have any pass rush but I didn't expect the run D to be total garbage

Are these aware they don't need to throw a flag on every play? They can just not do it.

Luther Burden is so cool. I also love that Calebs deep ball accuracy is coming together now.

Bears D just ain't good, which is fine! but we need to be reminded of that from time to time
  21. BigSlick
please sir....a first down please....i'll do just about anything for a first down

I am a bit disappointed that Bad First Drive Offense continues, Caleb had a lane when he recovered there and should have just got the first. But good lord, this feels like the first not-so-stressful game they've had in a year. It's nice to just watch them play football.

Bryce Young is not really a starting quarterback, and the sooner the Panthers accept that reality, the sooner they can find the actual solution at QB because the rest of the team is shockingly decent.
  24. BigSlick
    Bears NFC North champs 🫡

I guess if we have to be hit by some bug, better now than any other time in the season or postseason
