It would be great if the Cubs just exerted their offensive will on someone but they simply cannot right now. Also Victor Caratini, though he may be our hottest hitter, is playing first base.

I also think Joe is great and we should keep him as manager for as long as we can because in game decisions don’t matter all that much in the long run but boy howdy do they bother me as a fan

Not sure if you are implying that this is a stressful moment but either way I really doubt he considers this a stressful moment at all. 2 game lead in the loss column with 17 to play is not exactly back against the wall We’re freaking out because we’re fans. I’m sure there is concern but little stress/freaking out for now Oh I would definitely consider the last week stressful

Joe Maddon is a terrific manager at inspiring and motivating guys and in the good times in general but he makes some really really bad decisions when he’s under the gun and the moment is really stressful. My examples include just the 2016 World Series and this year.
