this cubs offense is unholy. it is a sin against god they should feel ashamed and embarrassed

1. Lester is fine, but not spectacular, gives up 3 ER over 5 IP 2. The Cubs score 1 run on a solo home run

i know i'm a spoiled awful sports fan when winning the first world series in 108 years doesn't really make me feel much better about a 95 win team that still cruised into the playoffs because they played kinda mediocre down the stretch after sustaining a bunch of injuries

The one that bugs me the most is all the whining about the schedule. i think there's a legitimate problem however, in the long run, for the cubs having so many early season games canceled because of weather and playing them all at the end of the season. this also applies to all teams in cold weather areas without domes

i kinda hate that if we win we have to play the Brewers, who i'm just so tired of seeing and thinking about i guess it would be nice to knock them out but i'm just *done* with the whole concept of the brewers

i honestly feel really bad for the cubs players. they've had to play a bazillion games in a row under intense pressure and they gotta do it again tomorrow it doesn't stop me from getting super irrationally angry at them for failing
