What a nice fun win to open the season. The first half was misery, of course. It felt again like "oh god....here we go again, it's the Bears and they're gonna just play like the Bears again" and what a nice surprise in the second half. Of course you the weather was a huge factor, as were the numerous penalties. We got a few to really break our way, although the one bizarre, never-before-in-my-watching-of-the-NFL penalty hit the Bears and cost us 3 points. But still, previous Bears teams have had things break their way in a similar fashion against good teams and still collapsed. This one didn't. It's a shame that our next game is against the fuckin Packers at Lambeau, but well, they looked terrible yesterday. So there's that. I'm just happy to see some real gumption from this team, so continue to play hard and protect Fields and don't be an embarrassment.
