That is certainly an interesting take on the Favre-Packers situation. Certainly not based in facts, but interesting. What does the bolded part even mean??? The Packers front office pushed him out and were pretty darned vindictive in doing so. It was worse than how the Cubs front office throwing Sammy under the bus, because Favre hadn't committed the transgressions that Sammy had. If it is the case that he comes back with the Vikings and "unretires" it will be the case that he had to go through this whole "retiring" charade thanks to the Packers front office and the anti-trade clauses they put in when they traded him to the Jets. And Roast, in 15 years someone should tell you should retire from whatever job you have and that you can never do it again. I hope he's healthy and if he wants to play and someone wants him to play for him that he plays. Every athlete deserves that chance, even guys like Bonds. Way to completely ignore all of Favre's "will I or won't I" waffling. The Packers made a decision because Brett wouldn't! They couldn't wait around and wait and hope that maybe, possibly, Brett might wanna play. There was plenty done wrong on both ends, but lets not make the Packers out to be the villian and Favre to be blameless here.
