  1. Day game after a night game, with Lee's sore back/neck....I wouldn't be surprised if Hoff is in there.
  2. Not on my team there's not!! http://nbcsportsmedia2.msnbc.com/j/msnbc/Components/Photos/070116/070116_zambrano_vlg_3p.widec.jpghttp://deadspin.com/archives/zambrano.jpg
  3. Without Olsen, I'd have thought nothing of it.
  4. Pre 2005 posts are archived due to site issues a few years back. Was this site even around in 1997-98? April 2003 I believe.

  6. I wasn't flipping anyone the bird....I was pointing up to heaven.
  7. Wasn't there a crazy stat about Orton not having hit a 40yd+ pass at all last season or something?
  8. That and he was drafted and developed to be a bit of a slugger, but then when he reached the majors coaches said he should turn into a bunting/slapping leadoff hitter. There probably couldn't have been a worse team for him to enter the majors on than the late 90s/early 00s Cubs. There was never a chance they were ever going to fix his most glaring weakness. Same thing happened with Pie.
  9. Thomas Jones...disgruntled RB...again. Seems like this guy is never happy. He made $13 million in the last 2 years, and now he's upset that he's only scheduled to make $900k this year. This was part of the contract he signed when he got traded from the Bears, but now he's upset about it now that we've gotten to the cheap part of the contract. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4160553
  10. I got 41 on nicknames, but I would have gotten tons more, I'm just slow. lol I wish you could just turn off the timer.
  11. Because I don't want the Favre crap cluttering up the Bears thread anymore.... http://www.fannation.com/truth_and_rumors/view/102510-favre-working-out-with-high-school-team?eref=fromSI
  12. How in the world did they screw up Roy G Biv? http://www.sporcle.com/games/rainbowcolor.php
  13. Haha, this is awesome. Missed one line, but otherwise got it very quickly. I still say it's TWIST turned upside down, no matter what that quiz says. Nah, that's flipped. But I did always think it was "Yo Holmes, to Bel Air"
  14. I got 84 on the original game. Got all of MLB, missed the 49ers in the NFL...honestly I just ran out of time or I'd have done much better.
  15. ESPN hires Matt Millen to be an analyst. Sounds about right. Him and Steve Phillips can have an "massively failed GM" lunch each week. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/football/nfl/05/07/espn.ap/index.html

what size driver are you using? i ask because maybe you're not concentrating on your contact when using a large driver...much easier to stay down and through the ball with an iron imo....just a thought. Also, could be standing too close. You have to stand further back with the driver than with irons. If you're too close, you could be having to adjust too much in your backswing.
  19. It's nice that he stepped foot in Halas Hall...it's the first step to getting untracked.
  20. From CNNsi.com's power rankings:
  21. This was exactly my though as I read this. Either that or some team pick him up on waivers..(haha!)
  22. Im saying Brett Favre next year in Minnesota, where he would not be throwing the ball 30 times a game, will have a better year then Cutler in Chicago. In Brett Favre's entire career, he's had one season where he didn't average 30 attempts per game. 2003...he attempted 29.4. If you're going to use the health of his entire career to say he'll be healthy this year, why not use his passes attempted stats from his entire career to determine how many passes he'll attempt? http://www.nfl.com/players/brettfavre/careerstats?id=FAV540222 Adrian Peterson Ahman Green ran for 1800+ yards in 2003, the only year that Favre barely fell short of throwing 30 per game. If Favre doesn't throw 30 per game this year, he's not going to miss it by much.
