    I was that way yesterday...I was thrilled when they went ahead, but I wasn't stressing about it much. For some reason I'm stressing about this one.

    In the long run it's a non-issue, but I thought Joe was done with the whole "pitcher batting 8th" nonsense for this year.

    Chacin announced as the starter. Well that was worth all the subterfuge.

    Oh, most definitely. It's inevitable the dude is going to have some extended DL stints. Every time he swings and misses he swings his right shoulder like it’s hurt or stiff. Maybe his uniform just twists when he misses. Yeah, he does some twisting after big swings but that's something I see a lot of guys do. Murphy did it after a swing yesterday too.

    Scioscia had said previously he wasn't gonna step down, which makes me think the Angels said "We're gonna let you go, but we'll let you resign to save face if you want."

    Honestly, with Hawk Harrelson retiring and not available for mockery, it's possible the White Sox fade entirely to background noise.

    Are we maintaining the same game thread rotation for the playoffs, or will we be changing it up?

    There were a ton of Cub Fans who were "like that" when the Cubs were losing and the WS were winning. Nah. Not buying it. I don't know many Cubs fans that give a single horsefeathers about the White Sox, whether the Cubs are winning or losing. With the exception of laughing at the little brother syndrome the fanbase clearly has. But actively rooting against them? Nah.
