I was waiting for someone to blame that absurd decision to hit Strop on the DH rule. No blame, but obviously a DH would've prevented the situation.

He's been quite active on the twitter machine lately. Saw him mansplaining to a couple of Cubs twitter people the other day.

The only defense I could come up with for Joe is that maybe they told Strop to just stand up there and not swing, and Strop didn't listen? But that doesn't seem very Joe-like. Regardless....DH please.

Rizzo didn't pack any extra clothes/pants for the trip. His uniform is it.

I think Maddon trying hard to get him hitting for the playoffs.. If Russell is getting starts in the playoffs, something has gone horribly wrong. I'd rather have him in there and Javy at 2nd than Javy at SS and Murphy at 2B. Murphy isn't hitting enough to make up for his defense that I just cannot stand to watch.

Fangraphs playoff odds are kinda ridiculous. I know those odds have long loved the Dodgers despite their struggles, but they are a game and a half out of first place in their own division, but have a 5% better chance of winning the World Series than the Cubs.
