I'm not going to begrudge anyone who votes for Pujols, he had an awesome year, and no one should throw a fit if he wins, to say that Lee was less valuable because his team didnt make the playoffs officially nominates you for "i dont know too much" status. It's not Lee's fault that everyone on our team is garbage. If Lee hit .400, with 75HR and 200RBI's, but our team didnt make the playoffs, would he still not deserve the MVP?

Wow, how can a coach get away with that? I don't care about the White Sox either way, but that is ridiculous, I would think a fine would be in order. You can't have managers going around acting like 14 year olds. (no offense Roast)

Jones will not win the MVP, his last month has been awful. .235 .307 .539 In total win shares, Jones is 18th in the NL, and that is including the 6 win shares he gets with his glove. He has fewer hitting win shares than David Eckstein. In Runs Created, Jones is 25th in the NL, behind luminaries like Jimmy Rollins, Brady Clark and Juan "The Don" Encarnacion. Jones will not win the MVP, if he does, it's a steal of Pendleton like proportions.

Kind of pertinent. When I was a freshman, one of our seniors who went on to play college soccer had a unique way of heading the ball. He would always know where the ref was and bring both hands up, clenched in a fist. While shielding the ref, he would punch the ball with the hand on the far side of his body, while making it look like he headed it. He always got away with it. Don't ask me how. you played with maradona?
