    There are not many players in baseball for whom I'd trade Wright. Very, very few. who would you rather have - ryan zimmerman or david wright? David Wright now( :wink:). But in two yrs....Zimmerman will be appraching Wright's status, so that question will be harder to answer. Zimmerman will never be the player that Wright is already.

    in high school i took a hit like that during a basketball game and I reacted the same way. i seriously felt like my hand had been snapped off, the pain was about 10x worse than when i broke my ankles. I was on the bench for a the rest of the quarter and played the entire second half. Joint injuries are weird, he may not be out that long, it's pretty stupid to speculate at this point.

    i liked flipping the bat 12 feet in the air. how does he not get drilled in the head for doing that? Because if you drill him in the head, then he'll hit the ball 600 feet his next time at bat, and do a jig all the way around the bases. With Pujols, you can't win. You have to admit, that was a pretty [expletive] thing to do. I would have beaned him right in the [expletive] for that move.
