    The check is in the mail. too bad no one is stupid enough to just judge pitchers bt their whip, just like no one is stupid enough to just judge pitchers by their win totals. Oops. Whip is like any other stat, it's one stat that needs to be looked at in conjunction with a handful of other stats before it means anything.

    Some would argue it matters more who you are as a person as opposed to how good you were at baseball. And I don't anybody has told people to not talk about what he did as a player. Fine. I just feel like the people here who wish to celebrate his on-field accomplishments are being told they shouldn't because he wasn't a good person. And the people that want to talk about the fact that he wasnt the greatest person in the world are being told they cant just because he was a hell of a player.
