Disagree. Yeah, there are actual pitchers who actually fit into our actual plans for the future, let's give those guys as many starts as possible. But, good for him, it was a nice bright spot in a dismal year.

That isn't how it works, at all. 9.5 games back may not seem like a large number, but it is compounded greatly by the fact that there are eleven teams in front of the Cubs. The fact that three of those eleven, not counting St. Louis, which makes it four (out of twelve, that's 33%) are from our own conference make it just about as impossible as impossible can be that the Cubs can make the postseason.

Hendry actually said that? Sure did! Murphy mentioned how Oakland A's preaches OBP starting with the lowest levels on the minor leagues and why don't the Cubs. Hendry said if you look at the Stats Oakland is one of the worst in the league in OBP. Jesus Christmas he's an idiot. The A's obp is low and their offense sucks. God Hendry is a toolbox.

Ok, Iowa was in Las Vegas last night, and Guzman is pitching in Iowa tonight Las Vegas to Iowa = approximately 1400 miles Las Vegas to Chicago = approximately 1700 miles It's possible for him to go 1400 miles in one day and pitch, but not for him to go 1700 miles in two days and pitch? I'm boggled.
