Ron Santo not being in the HoF doesn't bother me very much until I actually think about it. This is one of those times that I'm thinking about it and it's a shame that he isn't in the hall.

The Kazmir trade was awful for different reasons, Zambrano is a terrible pitcher.

I'd trade for Crawford now, put him in CF until Pie was ready, and then move him to a corner when Pie comes up. His adjusted ops has to be above .900, plenty high for a corner guy.

I guess we can assume that his old ass isnt on steroids anymore, right? Well, he's first in the majors in OBP (.457), by far, despite only hitting .261. (112 walks!) He also has hit 24 homeruns in 337 at bats. The guy is unbelieveable, how much longer can he do this?

probably the worst officiating i've ever seen in my life. Was the replay guy a nike executive or what? Seriously, you cannot blow two obvious calls back to back like that without there being some speculation, those calls weren't even close.

Just because the voters screwed up in 98 doesnt mean they should screw up today. if the season ended now, pujols should be the mvp. by the end of the season, who knows.
