  1. Yup. That sound you hear is the bottom falling out. Hey Jim Rome, how many times have you been wrong on this prediction already this year?
  2. Draft order 1. 4th and goal (someone) 2. Smells like Tuna (Vance) 3. Raw Dawgs (Raw) 4. The Football Team (Roast?) 5. Burnt (Burnt) 6. Ookie was Framed (no clue) 7. Ditka's Army (can't remember) 8. Hochuli's syringe (Wolfie) 9. IMB (IMB) 10. Cut for Cap Space (T.T.) I think that's right. If anyone has a problem with it or whatever just let me know
  3. The official Keepers for 2008 list is QB P. Manning T. Brady T. Romo RB S. Jackson M. Barber F. Gore W. Parker W. McGehee M. Lynch L. Maroney B. Jacobs M. Drew R. Wayne L. Tomlinson J. Addai R. Brown J. Lewis P. Jesus B. Westbrook WR T. Owens D. Driver L. Fitzgerald A. Boldin T. Housavanilla B. Edwards A. Johnson TE J. Witten Still waiting on Burnt's three keepers, and then we can start the draft. He pm'ed me just now, so I assume they'll be in soon.
  4. Keepers Steven Jackson Marion Barber Peyton Manning
  5. this was the first year in however long that i didn't buy mlb.tv but then the harden trade happened and his first start wasn't on wgn and i was forced to rethink things
  6. Johnson should never start a game in RF or LF ever. He's fine as a platoon partner for Edmonds in CF but should be the last option anywhere else. three year split - .831 ops vs. lefties .110 better than Kosuke vs. lefties, which is admittedly this year only We could do worse
  7. exactly if you have paid attention at all to japanese imports, you know that it takes them a while to get it he's going to finish with an obp heavy ops, with good defense in his first season. that's good enough for me
  8. THIS IS A NO SPIN ZONE, MOJO
  9. i don't even know how to describe it he was running in on a bloop and did a little footfirst slide the ball landed next to him and skidded 7 or 8 feet past him he got up, turned around, stumbled, fell over and rolled on top of the ball then, he reached under himself, dug the ball out, stood up and then just started laughing probably. the whole time, ellsbury was standing next to him like "what in the world" i can barely type because im still laughing
  10. I can't believe he topped himself. it seriously was the funniest thing i've ever seen in baseball. I almost passed out when he rolled over on the ball
  11. uggh, that makes my heart hurt
  12. your moms? ahthankyou
  13. delete this thread immediately
  14. record with the new mods: 0-1 wtg guys
  15. Doubt it. he had a big bandage on his right index finger when the showed him earlier. Blister or Ebola virus? he was cutting cigars
  16. some of us still remember world war 2
  17. good time for an anal fissure flare up
  18. curse of that 7th inning stretch kid
  19. if you could combine hunter pence and corey hart you would have the most awkward thing that has ever existed
  20. You are [expletive]. I hope you are kidding... whether he's kidding or not...he's still [expletive]. That's not nice Oscar. Okay you and vance are right. Saying that IMB! is [expletive] is a little harsh. Let us just say then, that IMB is "mentally challenged". he's right, that trade sucked. harden is terrible as evidenced by his no-decision. what a bum. anyone who liked this trade has undiagnosed down syndrome

  22. Give him one more start then get rid of Marquis. Really? he finished his night with 8 straight balls He is still going to give us a better chance to win than Marquis IMO. I don't think that any of us are as close to the situation as we wish that we were. If the Cubs are convinced that Hill's struggles have been at all mental, he should stay down for at least three more starts. Build his confidence up in baby steps. That's fine then put Marshall in. Either way get Marquis the hell out of there. I'm slowly coming to the realization that my Marquis-hate is unfounded.

  24. I'll give him that one. He deserves it after his all-star performance.
