  1. I disagree with everything this post stands for. I agree with the capitalization of the first word in each sentence and the proper placement of periods. what does this guy have against commas, anyway?
  2. is anyone not praising Theriot? I have my doubts that he can keep it up, if not for the rest of this year, at least for next year and onwards, but he's been a godsend so far.
  3. God I'm so ready for football. Let's do some way too early division picks NFC East Dallas, NY, Washington, Philly This division is pretty freaking stacked. You could probably do just as well picking the names out of a hat. Can T.O. stay elite? Was Eli's end of 2007 a mirage? Is Jason Taylor healthy? What about McNabb? NFC North MInnesota, Green Bay, Chicago, Detroit. For all the talk about how amazing Minnesota's defense was last year, Green Bay allowed fewer points. It's hard for me to drop the Packers based on Aaron Rodgers being the QB instead of Favre when Tavaris Jackson is still quarterbacking in Minnesota. NFC South New Orleans, Carolina, Tampa, Atlanta N.O. isn't as bad as they played last year, I like Tampa's defense but outside of the 45-year old Joey Galloway, I really don't like anyone on their offense. I liked Carolina's draft better than Tampa's, too and if the Panthers get Williams more carries and get average play out of QB, I think they take second. NFC West Seattle, St. Louis, Arizona, San Francisco I'll never buy into Arizona or SF until I actually see them do something on the field. They've been the two teams du jour the last two years and neither have done jack. Honestly, I'd like to pick St. Louis to win, but even though I know a lot of 2007 was due to injuries, picking a 3 win team to go from worst to first just seems like too big of a leap.
  4. but how many wins? 8-0 in his last 10 starts. It's on the front of ESPn MLB page right now. Here's a link ... http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/notebook?page=bbtn literally every post goes right over your head
  5. LOVE that little guy basehit here and its a tie game, come on
  6. I absolutely love your sig. same here.... where does that quote come from? I think it's from SAS
  7. Did you know?: That was Theriot's first XBH... since spring training?
  8. I edited it, but I've probably used it 100 times and no one has ever said anything before. Not a problem to not use it, but is there some reason why it's now a problem? Mostly because it's offensive and kind of stupid. What was it? feel free to pm me, I'd like to stay out of trouble, too.
  9. first post on northside, hatin on fools second post on northside, straight ownin them fools third post on northside? you know it'll rule im the rawdog, homey, I'll take you to school

  17. THE OTHER SHOE THERE IT IS i wish will carroll would shut up so i could enjoy this season in peace but seriously, i'll always be worried about any pitcher on the roster, especially young ones that we owe a lot of money too and that have thrown a ton of innings unchecked.
  18. Most of these guys just suck

  24. a while back, some friends of mine were really heavy into baseball cards... they might still be. anyway, some of the stuff was cool, so i'd go to shows with them occasionally and i ordered some stuff off ebay. I just dug up the box and it's a smorgasbord of Cubs disasters. A bunch of Prior jersey cards and rookie cards. Some Bobby Hill card, some kerry wood cards including a bat card (????), a bunch of sosa jersey cards and the coup de grace, an autographed jersey rookie card of corey patterson.
