LaRussa charged with drug trafficking Caught smuggling large amount of pixie dust across statelines LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL You really have a bad obsession with me. I can't post without you replying a pointless waste of time response. You don't like me. Get over it. Ignore my posts I don't care just stop making pointless posts that derail threads. Don't worry. He does the same thing to me, too. He thinks he's funny. If you don't respond to him, he'll go away. this is untrue

  3. Oh, like I said. Carry on there, Dex. except you used rbi's and batting average to show that he hasn't hit, and those don't show that he hasn't hit it would have been perfectly acceptable if you had just used his slugging percentage Actually BA is the best way to tell if someone has gotten hits. Now if you want to know whether he has gotten extra base hits or overall been a productive offensively player you would want to use other statistics. will you please just upgrade to pro? jesus.
  4. going from crappy to average is the very definition of "beefing up" now do you understand
  5. good one bro. let's see how many more times you can use that joke before you realize it isn't funny anymore how about you stick to the actual topic and tlel me if you diagree that our farm system is still below average. make fun of his signature
  6. nobody said average means nothing. it means something because it brings other numbers up. also nobody said anything close to what you said about ops btw, that hitter would still have an .800 ops delete your post, he needs to figure this out for himself. Feed a man a fish and all that.
  7. look at what you posted and think real hard and try to see what's wrong with it
  8. obligatory http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a47/madhops_42/cardinals3.jpg
  9. soriano actually leads the league in oops
  10. what is ops i dont remember the exact equation, you'll have to ask meph but it's something like 2x(RBI+GW RBI)/race(-1 for black)+(meaningless home runs)x(hustle/pant legs(up or down))
  11. milton bradley has had 2 straight months of .875+ ops, he's going to fine next year, you nincompoop
  12. jeff conine's got that power that we need to take it to the top

  14. Why more than Thigpen and not Francisco? thigpen has the record for saves duh
  15. LaRussa or Duncan? eiffel tower
  16. if he wants to bring duncan with him, he can rape my mom if he wants to
  17. I don't want this to turn into another thread where people attack each other and call them stupid or even debate whether or not Harden is pathetic or a great asset to the team. Just post what you actually expected him to do this season after Hendry traded for him in 2008. 47 wins 450 strikeouts 63 saves, more than bobby thigpen ERA below 1.00 No walks. At all.
  18. if the rest of the team was carrying their weight, this wouldn't be an issue. sure, bradley struggled out of the gate, but so did just about everyone else. If the whole team wasn't so mediocre, Bradley's bad start would have been less noticeable. We would be in a close race for first, and the fans would be all excited about how his bat is heating up. Everyone would be talking about how great his eye is and how amazing it is to have someone that gets on base at the rate he does. instead, the entire team sucked, many have been worse than Bradley himself, but because he has a history and an attitude, he's the scape goat. It's sad, really. If everyone else would have done their part, he'd be a fan-favorite.
  19. yeah plus aramis got hurt with no reasonable backup to be found, fontenot tanked and soto either sucked or was hurt. that's a lot of bad production from a number of positions and we don't have a monster like pujols to carry the lineup. It was a pretty awful cocktail of obvious things (fontenot, lack of health/depth at corner IF/OF positions) going wrong, and not so obvious things (Harden being healthy-ish but no good for so long, Marmol's wildness, Soriano falling apart, Soto sucking, etc..) going wrong. I'm really ready for this year to be over with.
  20. yikes, he's definitely trying to talk his way out of town.
  21. I think the point is that you can live with Bradley's production for 10 million a season. It's not optimal, but if he's going to get on base 40% of the time, you can find him a spot. Hell, he's a perfect hitter for the 2-spot. Well, maybe not perfect, but he fits. The problem is that Soriano is such a [expletive] black hole. The combination of passable Milton Bradley and awful Soriano, making a combined 28 million a year, is too much to overcome. And you can't move Soriano, so the only way to improve the OF short of Soriano remembering how to hit/getting healthy is to move Bradley and try to get lucky with an OF that can hit for power.
